Will I ever be able to change my avatar again?

It's been months that I've been stuck with this silhouette avatar. Every time I try uploading a new one nothing happens.

Yes, less than 50kb. 

i believe this was fixed.

Uploading images for avatars and galleries has not worked since the hack. You can see in the User Galleries that the last uploaded image was on Jan. 16. Importing from a URL is a temporary workaround for avatars. I've been uploading images via attachment as a sub for galleries, but would really appreciate if that was fixed as well.
