Doom BFG PC 2.97 shipped and sold by amazon.com

Temporarily out of stock, but I ordered one anyway. Got the $1 digital credit offer, too. Thanks for the post!

It would be great to see them price match all of GameStop's cheap retail PC games. Most of the AAA games come with digital keys and can usually be purchased for cheaper than digital download from GS, since nobody who frequents there apparently knows what a mouse and keyboard are unless it's connected to a console-looking piece of tech. :p

Would probably pick up more Steam keys and trade in the retail packaging if there are any additional deals like this. Great deal for Prime members.

I think you can't trade in pc games .. also you can always attach an Xbox controller through usb and turn your pc into a console I mean it practically is if you make steam into big screen mode

If you plug in a controller to play FPS games on a PC you must have born after 2000.

haha i don't so long as its 30 fps or higher haha well i was born in the 80s so..lol but yeah i think anything over 28 is playable right? as long as it at least looks as good as consoles and its much cheaper then ill get it on pc

I was born in '79, but I went from console to PC. Therefore, playing anything with a mouse and keyboard is difficult for me. Thank God for the 360 controller.

If you haven't yet realized how much better the Xbox controller is for FPS games than a keyboard and mouse you must have been born after 2010.
Lol, please, you must be a teenager. Mouse and keyboard trump any shitty-ass consoletard controller for FPS games.

PC is where the FPS game was born and refined through franchises like Half-Life, Counter Strike, Quake, and Unreal, just to name a few. Bungie released Halo after Valve released Half-Life and Counter Strike, but all the little console kiddies idolize everything Microsoft because "lul dey inventid gameing."

Can't wait to see how many controllers people are using at Quakecon and CSGO in this year's tourneys.

I find that I prefer a mouse and keyboard for FPS's such as Half Life, Counter Strike, Doom, Quake etc., but for first person games like Far Cry or Fallout I prefer my elite controller.

You blind PC fanboys are the funniest part about the internet.

haha i just realized he meant first person shooter rather than frames per second lol!
yep, that's what i meant. haha! and FPS (frames per second) should takes priority no matter what year you are born. but the post 2000 seems to want 1080pee+ over frame rate. :(

PC "retail" games have zero collection value, sadly. I still have a box or two of older PC retail games, some still sealed. Try to load any of them in a modern PC, not gonna happen.

simtower was my first pc game ever and a demo for a star wars game on my 486 dx2 66mhz 4mb ram and i think 512mb hard drive haha
