This badly designed website apparently put up some money to get more copies of harder to find games have another print run.

I wasn't aware the two Trauma Center games are rarities.

I avoided Infinite Space for a long time, even being away of its rarity, because the gameplay features don't seem appealing to me.  What makes this worthwhile for certain players?

Best luck for anyone who got these items.

I didn't realize the Trauma Center DS games were rare either.  I think I only have the first one.  I'd be more excited about Infinite Space, but I finally got to try that game a few years back.  I really didn't like it and it killed my interest in tracking it down.  Covenant of the Plume is fun though.

No idea if they're legit, and I already have all those.

Infinite Space has a good story. Not as apparent as 999's or Danganronpa's, but there are some things hidden in the story that you may or may not notice on a second play through. Doesn't help that the game takes 50+ hours with the story spread pretty far out.

The combat is the worst part of the game, until you're so overpowered with drones that you don't have to do anything. It's a little like fencing / tug of war.

It was actually my second favorite game of that generation, but it's pretty niche, even for niche games.

i don't think the games are legit since they have summon night 5. it was a limited edition that people got last week if you preordered it. they only made enough for those that preordered and i have not heard of them making more.

No, they made extra for VGP to sell. It's the only place to get Summon Night 5 physical if you didn't pre-order.

I'm thinking about going in on Trauma Center 2. Trauma Center 1 isn't really rare (especially its Wii remake), but even at this price it's the current cheapest place to get Trauma Center 2, especially brand new. I was watching a $20 used copy on eBay the other day but once this news popped up, all the reasonably-priced copies dried up quick.

It's just bullshit that their free shipping cutoff is literally one cent above the price for this game. Seriously...?

They're legit, they've done this type of thing before.

I already put in my order after checking out their positive reputation on various sites.  Some of their psp reprints are priced way more reasonably than elsewhere....

I am all for reprints!  Definitely going to consider Infinite Space and Summon Night 5.

I saw in another thread that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Dragon Quest Rocket Slime, and Dragon Quest Monsters Joker  were also getting a reprint from this particular online game store.

This badly designed website apparently put up some money to get more copies of harder to find games have another print run. This isn't a new practice, last example being Xenoblade for Wii, but I'm just curious if this is a legit website since it looks like something via 2002. Anyways, feel free to add any "restocks" you find, and if this is a legit website or not.

I got in on the Summon Night 5 pre order thinking I would own one of the last PSP games ever made .... 5,000 they said.

Grumble ...

Thor which site is doing all the Persona/Atlus PSP physical reprints? Saw an ad for it on Twitter while at PAX East but don't remember the site.

exactly what i thought too

had no idea they have done this before since it was my first time ordering from gaijinworks. oh well that is why i only buy games for my collection and not to resell.

I grabbed Trauma Center 2 for $5 at Gamestop so I didn't think it was rare. Really brutal game by the way, and that's coming from a veteran of the series. The Trauma Center games for the Wii definitely balanced out the difficulty more.

Oh, Trauma Center 2's difficulty is nothing compared to the muscle-straining hardness that the first game offered.  To hell with that multi-rescue level.

Trauma Center 1 has a few bullshit difficult stages (marathon heart surgery being one of them), but 2's both across-the-board fairly difficult and also way, way, WAY more polished. Looks, sounds, and plays amazing, and actually has phenomenal writing too - I got the same kind of excited tension from much of the game as I do from the juiciest bits of ace attorney and zero escape games. Definitely recommend picking it up.

They're both a bit more serious (if highly dramatized when it comes to actual surgery) than you'd expect of an Atlus game, but the 1st game is honestly a bit unpolished and has weird jumps in plot, especially towards the end - haven't gotten around to playing the wii version, but I'd assume that's probably the way to go with it. Worth playing, but I was blown away by just how MUCH better 2 was. Very good usage of the DS features for both though, definitely a game tailored to the system.

Also, looks like infinite space is kaput.

I had infinite space on order and when they went to charge my card, my credit card company declined the charge for fraud. I accepted the charge, but now they need to recharge. I can't find any evidence of my order on their site, but I do have an order number. I contacted CS, and hopefully they'll work with me on it.
