I was confused, it didn't seem possible to make a boring movie out of the source material. There was barely any use of the crazy weapons. Literally all they had to do was remake a bunch of cut scenes. And it was supposed to be good for kids, so I figured "two birds with one stone". This has been the only movie my wife and I have fallen asleep during in a theater. Yes, we both dozed off. Glad I went during matinee and spent under $20 with popcorn.
It wasn't a bad movie, and it picked up during the second half. But it wasn't a good movie. It was just about as meh as you can imagine, except you can't because R&C hasn't had a meh story in a mainline game I have played.
