PS4 Star Wars: Battlefront $20 "digital" @ cdkeys.com

tempting, boxedeal and gamedaily have it for 26 and 27, would like to get it digital to have on both PS4s.

It's digital, so you don't get caught by a friend looking at your shelf collection & saying "YOU BOUGHT THIS?!" :whistle2:

You do all know rental stores exist, so whoever runs cdkeys, has an easy way of getting them if they aren't being used with the items they rent out. Just speculation I've come with.

I purchased mine this morning and received the code right away. Though it was strange it being a picture of the code :). Also ordered the Uncharted collection a few weeks ago, without any issues.
Just quicker to get a pic of the scratched off code than having to wait for it to come in the mail.

They're not legit? Tempting.
Most people think these keys were purchase with stolen credit cards and resold on the gray market. I remember hearing someone mention their license/key was revoke on steam once the publisher got hit with chargeback request.

Just something to keep in mind when participating in these deals.

I think it's highly suspect that a company like this could run a sustainable business operation like that. It seems like they might be stripping these from new PS4 boxes that get sold in different ways or used as replacement units, etc. It may not be acceptable to Sony from a business standpoint but could still be completely legal. I'm just guessing since I have no idea.

I thought this was CheapAssGamer, not Ethical/MoralAssGamer
Not everyone tosses their money when they take a chance on it being a non-legit key from a shitty grey market source. Either buy it or don't and I'm choosing not to and bring up what a hive of scum and villainy they are.

I don't need to, even though I did buy a few things from them in the past. I saw a better deal when Gamefly had it for $19.99 a few days ago and some still go for the physical copy. Then again, the Ethical asses will say chipped discs. Nothing positive with deals these days.

I'd never want to support illegal activity and would never advocate it, however, I don't mind things that may not be in the best financial interest of certain stakeholders such as publishers if they aren't acting smartly about their product.  If CDkeys and other websites are so bad for the industry, it seems like the industry could figure out a way to tighten up their control of keys being given out, issued, etc.  It's not like these keys are pirated software that people are simply copying that would be out of the publisher's control.  The keys are made by the publisher and given or sold to someone, somewhere and could most certainly be tracked and revoked, if desired.

It's not the publisher's problem really. Like other have said these have probably been skimmed from ps4 bundles on Russia, so the publishers have already gotten their money. Whether or not they were stolen or they're simply unbundling the ps4s and selling them piecemeal is where the grey area comes up, and unless there's definitive proof of either it's pretty much whatever you're comfortable with.

It's 100% and always has been absolutely legit

However they get them, who cares???.... Everyone says this same dumb unsubstantial "shady" comments but everyone gets the keys they bought from cdkeys every time

This is like people who post why their exploits or glitches don't work ... Buy it or don't. No one cares lol it's not a moral conundrum as what post people here now do is borderline illegal according to over zealously law fearing citizens

How bout you pay half price for games and get your ladies diamonds from "non conflict sellers" to make up for immorality

I say from now on anyone ranting about cdkeys IS a Sony exec!!! :D

I used them a couple of times when they first started popping up for steam stuff, and never had any issues.  I just want to know, does anyone here actually have a story that involves them or someone they actually know?  Any time these guys get brought up, someone has to say "But I heard from someone one time...." stories.  I put about as much faith in stuff like that as back when kids in middle school use to say they found "hidden secrets" in old NES games that did crazy stuff cause their "brother's friend" told them about it.

I regretted my day 1 purchase of this game within 24 hours of buying it...and it was obvious to me that it would drop in price quickly. Damn friends just HAVE to get it day one lol. I'm convinced a significant percentage of games revenue derives from "peer pressure," for lack of a better term.
