Wonderful 101 For Wii U $15 at Walmart: pickup only

I predict this will be one of those games that will be pretty pricey in 10-15 years.  A fun niche game published by nintendo that didn't sell well.

Ugh, can be bought in-store only.  Nearest store has it in-stock, but I really don't want to go there today.

You don't have to go today, I believe you have 5 days or so before you need to pick it up.

Maybe it's just me, but there's no option to buy online. Says Add To List or Add To Registry, and in the store locator, it says in-store purchase only.
Yeah, it said that my local store had 2 in stock online, but I was unable to do "Pick up in store" and had to physically go in and pick it up, which I did end up doing. Thanks for sharing this, OP! I've been interested in grabbing this for a while now and had to go out and pick up my Uncharted 4 pre order anyways.

Highly recommended underrated gem! Game feels like an extension of the viewtiful joe series. Just insane action and classic Platinum gameplay. Very high replay value as well. I still pop it in 3 years later and love every minute. Controls can be frustrating until it clicks. Then youll have a hard time putting it down.

Was this reprinted? It seemed to be really hard to find before, so I thought the price would never drop. I felt lucky to snagging the last copy at another store for $20.

I'm wondering this as well. When I was at Gamestop the other day, there were multiple copies of this, Tank! Tank! Tank!, and Wario, all of which were relatively difficult to find not too long ago.

Tank! Tank! Tank! got a reprint by Gamestop about a year and a half ago when speculators drove the resale price up to a silly amount.

Nope. This game was never hard to find. It's probably just where you live. It sold very badly so there are lot of copies sitting on shelves.

Same here...

Definitely seems like all 3 got reprints. Wii U games, outside of the really popular ones, are relatively rare in my area but those 3 are in stock everywhere.

Local store (via the website) says "only one copy".  I have no vehicle until my wife gets home tonight.  That's definitely a "buy" price for me; been waiting a while!

Lol... Did TTT get sought after, would have never imagined it, fun game though.

Haven't really follow the Wii U much until recently... it's basically dead in the water right now so I figure I better pick up what I can but I know that TTT ended up becoming a freemium game, so I didn't think physical copies would ever have any value.

Thanks OP! Had been looking to get this for a while, and was able to grab the second to last copy at my local store. never would have gone there otherwise

So was there a Game & Wario reprint? It's the only title I don't have that I might want... well, maybe also Wii U Sports HD or whatever it's called. But both prices seem to be crazy.

Well, there's no official answer (as official word of a reprint would hurt after market prices), but any time a very rare/uncommon game shows up at a lot of GSes... it's a good sign it was reprinted. If you wanna be sure, go to a GS, check display case/manual and see what shape they're in. Most older games are gonna have notable wear on the case and manual... if they look mint/somewhat mint, then it's a safe assumption that it's a reprint.

Thanx, OP! Still $29.99-39.99 around me and eBay is still in the 20 dollar range. I've had my eye on this one for a while! Leaving right now......

EDIT: Just came back with my copy. Not listed, so I had them price check it first. Def $15 plus tax. All the copies of Doom and Uncharted 4 were gone. They also had copies of a PS4 game called Grand Ages: Medieval. Never heard of it (an exclusive?). Released last October. Then again, this Walmart is new to me as I just moved. It was down to $20 along with a bunch of other games.

Definitely not the case for my store, last I checked at the first of the month it was still $29.88
yah same here, dont think it got a reprint most likely just extra stock nintendo is dumping since the nx comes out next year, did find out when i went in yesterday morning from the guy that most of the time the other workers dont bother to change the price on those items since their locked behind glass so its a pain

I grabbed the last copy at the Wal-Mart by my apartment a couple of weeks ago. Just happened to stumble across it while grocery shopping and this was the price I had been waiting for. Wish I could find a copy of Pikman 3 without the Player's Choice packaging now.

You'll have to go the secondary market for that one, as those where all gone awhile ago. As soon as the players choice was released, I got a rather nice copy at my local GS that had been traded in(for the PC price of $20).

Local Walmart had at least three in the game case...even though the website said 1 copy.  Also had a new sticker on the shelf showing the $15 price.  Thanks, OP.

A WM out of the way had 4-5 copies but they were all $55 a while back... as soon as the price drop happened, they were all gone. Would have been nice to snag a copy at $20. On the plus side, aftermarket prices have dropped considerably... I mean, it's more than $20 but much more reasonable than $60+ they used to go for.
