You know how some people like to sit on the toilet and play their PSP's? Only reason why I don't jump on some of these.
What's wrong with that? The UMDs are safely contained in a skank-free environment deep within the walls of PSP. It's the PSPs themselves that are being nastified. So, you have a better chance at contact with poo particles from shaking somebody's hand!

Some of us like to consult the manual for movelists to darkstalkers while playing on the toilet. Manual and UMD both back into the case afterwards, hand in hand. I am never buying a UMD used. I trust myself to take proper sanitary precautions. I don't trust others to do the same.

No germs are going to be able to live liong enough for you to get an "infected" game, and if there was actually visible shit, I'd say that's a return they have to take. If you're seriously worried about that, then you should never buy anything used, ever. Or leave your house for that matter.

Might as well also report that I received my copy of Darkstalkers--came in excellent condition, with only a sticker over the UPC and a clear one over the edge of the case... a minute of GooGone and the case was perfectly clean :) The game itself was mint, with nary a finger print in sight... good price on a good game...
How this thread turned into a discussion of what gamer's do in the bathroom is beyond me...
They always do...

Only People from charlottesville have cool heads here... ;-)

I'd recommended it doubledown--as long as you have a bottle of GooGone (or some such thing), they're basically in brand new condition.
Fry's beats these prices the day the game gets released.
Wow, Fry's beat those prices, too bad there's not one within 200 miles of most people!

thats funny i thought Frys had a store on every street corner across the nation.

would jump on this if either THUG2 or Ridge racer were at all on the deal for desent prices (even after discount)... alot of these games are going down to $30 real soon or already are.

As near as I can determine, I think actual "Fry's Electronics" stores are only located in about 9 U.S. states (with about 23 of the total 31 stores in either California or Texas).

I do also want to point out that while I do love ordering some of my used games from ebgames.com I had a rather spectacular failure on my recent order... I ordered three used PSP titles. Upon arrival, two UMDs were broken, and Lumines wasn't even in the case. If you do happen to get a damaged UMD from ebgames.com know that you can take them to any retail EB store to have them replaced (at first my local store said they couldn't help me out). But, if you look at the back of your packing slip, it states that stores can take back the damaged online orders.

As for missing orders, I've had to send back the case to ebgames.com (the stores can't do missing UMDs). At least the lady I talked to on the ebgames.com call center was very nice and the return process was fairly smooth.

I got Hot Shots Golf and Twisted Metal in the mail today. Hot Shots was fine but the plastic case was broken on Twisted Metal. No replacable copies at the EBs around here so I called EB and they said they were going to send a shipping envelope so I can get it replaced.

are all these problems with used games? has anyone had new stuff show up broken from ebgames.com? also... anyone know of some other ebgames psp cupon codes that still work

and is SAVER(free shipping) just for the used game
