It looks like this may already be dead. People on SD are reporting it as dead also. Xbox Live Gold 12 month deal is still available (at least for me).

12 month gold offer has been up since Jan I think.

The gift card offer is dead, Windows Store only has the $3 option left. Too bad, I woulda made a killing redeeming.

 
I was banned from Bing for absolutely no reason (don't use bots, no 2nd accounts in the household). They banned me back in February and said they would investigate it and of course 3 months later and I've heard nothing back. I had probably about 1500-1800 points. Shame I can't actually use them for this. Oh well I guess. Good for those who have the points though.

I wish I could have survived on Bing long enough to get banned three times. I had an account that I used for a lengthy amount of time and then went to work overseas. The network at work was a government network that tunneled back to the states but my internet in my room was Greenlandic. I logged in from my room one time to redeem some points for MS Points after doing my searches at work and was banned, since it is restricted to US addresses and it detected my foreign IP. After a while I set up a new account using my government email address and only used it at work. I scored quite a bit of Amazon credit off of it but recently came back to the US for good. I no longer have access to the email account I signed up with over there and cannot log in from home since it is a new location; it wants to confirm my identity by sending a verification code to that email address.

They actually still have that first account on file and I think they banned that back in 2012. It is my main MS account and my current Xbox Gamertag account still. I tried to log in with it or set up a new Rewards account with it recently and it still says that they closed the Rewards account. I wonder if I contacted someone, if I could get it reopened. I guess not knowing that the ToS forbig overseas access is not an excuse though.
 
I got temp banned on 2 of my bing rewards accounts because I linked them to the same live account with different promos running at the times I set them up. I emailed them told them I shared a Live account with my brother and that we both used bing rewards and they unbanned both. FYI i really do share a live account with my brother. I did set up both rewards though just to farm some amazon credit and get some free stuff. 

 
Thanks OP, I was saving up points and usually just use it on Amazon GCs, but was able to get $30 worth of GCs. Great deal as they don't often discount these codes.

 
Sorry I think this is clear but Are Windows store gift cards the same as Xbox credit? Do you get a 25 digit code like Xbox codes that you enter?

They are the same. It says so in the fine print of the product page.

When you get the email from Bing, it will have a link to redeem the currency. Clicking the link takes you to your Microsoft account, where the code is displayed, and you have to click one more time to add it to your balance.

 
How long does it take to get the Windows Store code? It's been 5 hours since I have cashed in my points and I haven't heard anything. When I redeem my points for Xbox bucks, I get the code in about 10 minutes.
 
Managed a $10 on each of my accounts, thx! Wish it had a promotion end date in the legal gibberish, trying to decide if I grab another $5 while it's discounted or hope it lasts another week for the extra 200 points needed for another tenner ehe

 
I remember when Bing used to be some rewards thing early on. They had prizes you got from playing games (although they were real sh*tty with not sending you prizes sometimes). I actually did receive a Zune back when somebody thought that thing was a good idea. Those were the days..

 
Redeemed a $10 card and attempted to purchase a random DLC item off the One Marketplace  to see if it works, and it shows the $10 credit in my account.

Ordering $30 more now.

it took several hours when the promo first started but yesterday I got the code almost instantly.
