As a couple of people has stated AWD has been a joke lately with the way they have been pricing items lately.  So its not surprising that this thread is as dead as it is since there is literally nothing worth posting.

There are always decent deals floating around on AWD, there's just not a guy dedicated to hunting them all down and posting them like before. The one guy that kept me coming to CAG got banned and this thread fell to shit without him. Might as well be closed at this point. Just follow his Twitter and check for games on your own, I guess.

That's what killed it for me, not being able to sort low to high made me go from checking to see what was listed multiple times a day to once or twice a week.

I'll go and check occasionally when looking for things but even DSU's Twitter finds havent been mind blowing. I think AWD is just not as good as it used to be

Well, I can't believe it happened, but I got my first Warehouse Deals package without a cartridge in it.

 

I ordered the Fire Emblem Warriors Special Edition for ~$40. It arrived yesterday, and looked sealed -- even the game looked sealed, minus a little tear on the side where the plastic overlaps. Well, I opened it, and low and behold, there was no game inside.

 

Someone opened the bottom of the collectors edition, took out the game, slightly pried open the case and must have used some kind of tool to pop the game out. Sealed it back up, returned it to Amazon, and they took it. 

 

First time in my several years of buying Warehouse Deals games this has happened. A little bummed, but luckily Amazon was pretty easy about it. Dang, had me fooled though!

Same thing happened to me with Zelda special edition. Ended up returning it. Altbough I was worried that they wouldn't believe me and not refund me, they did in full.

I was an active membwe but it came apprentices Cheapy doesn’t really care about this place at all and I slowly backed off and only came occasionally to engage with the few members I still liked. But now it’s just so awful and there’s such better ways to find deals and with better communities not run by a bunch of sensitive pansies. So I now shout DS2U from the top of the world, and I walk into the long night.

It's a forum run by people. If it was run by reddit bots, anyone who even mentioned DS2U would be auto-banned, so we at least have human discretion here. I very highly doubt that irish was banned for that one post.

 

No idea who Blackbeard is, but if he has a deal-posting bot then I'd love an invite.

Irish became a garbage troll who sent me a horribly telegraphed offensive email which I deleted before I even looked at. Well, im assuming it was based on the subject and sender name.

Previously, I sent him a respectful private message suggesting he was acting in a manner that indicated he wanted to be banned. This email was his response. I doubt it contained a smiley face but I guess we will never know.

A quick google search shows he was previously banned from GAF. He sucks.
