Odd because the disc only game is $49.99

Amazon is also offering $20 credit for trading the game back in within 60 days.  Not sure if they require the Amibo also.

tempting but I know I'll never play it so paying the high nintendo price keeps me from grabbing it

good price for fans though

 
how is it odd? Game only is from a third party loser selling just the game while keeping the amiibo.

When this game was announced, it was at the height of the amiibo scarcity epidemic.  There was probably plenty of time for Nintendo to manufacture to meet the demand.  That and the recent announcement of the future of the Wii U has killed external interest in the game.  It is a great game, and a decent way to play the GameCube version of the game which is actually rare. (The Wii U version has both the GCN and Wii version of Twilight Princess in it)

Now the Wii U version of the new Zelda coming out in March 2017 will be the rare one.  I will snatch that one up for sure. (but I love me some Zelda and always buy them so w/e)

What makes you think it will be rare when it will probably be a launch title for the NX as well as a Wii U release? There is a reason you might want to play the GC version of twilight princess over the Wii version. I doubt that difference will exist between Wii U Zelda 2017 and the NX version.
