Battleborn Digital Deluxe PS4/XB1 $39.99 (Amazon)

I bought this game at near full price and it came with the season pass. I absolutely love this game, especially when I found out that you can play splitscreen.

How playable is splitcreen? I've heard a good chunk of the left side is taken up.
It's true. A bit less than a third is taken up with minimaps and boss health, but it doesn't bother me too much since my tv is pretty big. But I will say that it's pretty hard to read your skills on splitscreen.

So far, I like it. :)
Finally unlocked Phoebe!

I play with my brother on split screen. The only thing that sucks at times is the drop in frame rate. Sometimes too much is going on with two players that it lags. I have a big TV, so the map doesn't bother me much.

I thought it would, but you get used to it. That being said, it is a bit hard to read your skills with two players and I have a 50" Lol.

I keep trying to talk myself out of this.

>I didn't care for the beta.
>Should be saving money.
>Ew digital
>Game +season pass for less than game price /already $40 at BB this close to launch has to be a bad sign.
>Bad at shooters with a controller lately.
>Never cared much for borderlands
>Too much colourfulness
>Running out if space on 2TB drive on ps4
(Well you could just get it on X1 because external drives) (Shut up brain)

Brain likes saving money on things more than using the things. Can't comprehend that $0 would be saving money vs $40

Same here! I just purchased Borderlands: The Handsome Collection instead. Figured I would get more value out of this, only being $20.

I am trying to talk myself out as well. I'm burned out on season passes and I feel they're just not good value unless you know what you're getting (all of the content has been released).

But this seems like a game that would be perfect for digital so you can jump in a game quickly. Plus if it's already $32 after GCU how much would it trade for anyway in a couple months?

Yeah and season passes with decent content (such as Fallout 4 and Dying Light) tend to be jacked up hardcore in price. I'm so over Season passes....

This game is a self fulfilling prophecy- people made fun of it after it was unveiled and said it would be ignored and then they ignored it to complete their narrative

Launching near overwatch hurts

I think the comparison to Overwatch is unfortunate.  I bought into this and am looking forward to spending some time with it.  Couch coop that you can take online is a rarity on consoles nowadays.  It's here, so I'm happy.
