What's so bad about this game? Just curious. Also, would I be able to play this in my ps4 here in murica?
Nothing out of the ordinary, averages a 7/10. Just got ignored because of Uncharted 4 and Overwatch. Actually, it's similar to Overwatch so I mean if you're waiting for an Overwatch price drop, a $20 Battleborn seems like a good option.

It's NOT like Overwatch.
Overwatch plays similar to TF2 that focuses on team game play with a variety of characters that play to each others strength and weakness to do an objective to win the match. It's multiplayer only.
Battleborn has a campaign that plays like a Destiny Strike Missions and a FPS MOBA like Multiplayer matches with a temp DNA sequence upgrade system thats wipes after every play through. The only similarity between the two is that they both offer an array of unique characters that change the style of how you play.
As a general statement (not focuses on who I am quoting) I don't care if people like or dislike Battleborn but please stop claiming they are similar games.
Edit: You really want to take game advice from people who obviously haven't played the game?

Amen. It is nothing like Overwatch. People who say that have never played BattleBorn. I have both games and I enjoy both. Unfortunately too many people shit on Battleborn early so no one is playing so it takes forever to get in a match.

Pardon my ignorance, but I have to ask: will there be any issues with patching and online play if I use this version on a US PS4?

I'd rather wait for this to be the US version so to not pay for the shipping but by that time there will be like 3 people playing it so screw that.

Yeah they're different when you analyze them but if they were too different, there wouldn't be dozens of articles taking the time to compare the two. They're both big multiplayer games with 20+ characters to choose from with light hearted colorful cartoonish themes. It's Armageddon vs Deep Impact, yeah there different but

So, i guess you must think that Samurai Warriors and Street Fighter are direct competition. I mean, they have lots of different characters that you can select and unlock that have different special moves. doesn't matter that the actual gameplay isn't similar. saying street fighter and killer instinct aren't similar would be splitting hairs. this is completely different in terms of genre. Overwatch is a team shooter like tf2 as others have pointed out, no xp, no npc minions Battleborn has temporary leveling and all sorts of npc respawns, it's part MOBA which is an offshoot of RTS games

i know they're different but I thought with a $40 difference in price, choosing to buy this first person cartoony shooter or that first person cartoony shooter comes down to just that. Not to mention Battleborn has a single player campaign. Can't go wrong with that for $20 no matter what. Now if there wasn't such a huge price gap then it's worth saying alright this is this kind of first person cartoony shooter and that is that kind of cartoony first person shooter. One is a MOBA the other is team based etc.
