I know it's obvious to us old-timers but you might want to specify that the rumored deals are only for preorders, not any 3 titles

Bestbuy sent me spam saying current Gamers Club members will have early access to the E3 preorder offer, and the offer will be revealed Friday June 10.

I'll be ordering two copies of the "better" titles this year... one to sell on Kijiji, and make most of my own copies cheaper.

I thought last year BB was only 20% off, it was 2 years ago that they had 30. Which I took advantage of and I now only have 1 game left that hasn't been released lol.

They moved it back to 30% for Black Friday, so I'm guessing they'll fix it this time around. They damn well better cough up 30%, Americans have naturally better prices and can get 20% off any day of the year now.

I didn't get anything from BB via reward zone. Weird.
Did anybody else here get erroneous reward zone points recently? Apparently they were going around again. A couple weeks ago they popped $30 in certificates for me, it was obviously an error so I immediately ran into BB and cashed em in (my cert threshold is set to $20, it's interesting to note that if you go over the threshold they'll send smaller certs to top off the payout). BB sent me an email the other day and said they were letting people keep the points, I dunno how they could take them back after I blew them :)

I'm not holding any hope for E3 deal this year. Prices are getting more and more expensive on video games. 3DS games turning into $60 games, Ps4 turning into $90+, etc. It's getting insane.

I doubt it. Also, North America is getting jipped from some items, compared to the Japanese version. I want those DLC costumes.

GG, Best Buy, haha. Good thing I pre-order most titles each year and don't need a whole lot right now.

C'mon, Amazon, don't let us down!

It was written in op's post.

Oh crap, that's pretty terrible actually. An $80 game would actually be $79.99, netting you 1975 points. Sure that's a tiny nitpick, but it works out to missing that $5 certificate. Also they'll be taxing the full priced game, and fully taxing whatever you pickup with a certificate. And using certificates is a pain in the ass. You need to wait over a month to receive them, they expire, they can't be used on sales less their face value ($19.99 game and a $20 cert, lol no), and you physically need to have a printer and ink isn't cheap with my crappy inkjet. Using the $19.99 cheap rack as a redemption example, you'd need $15 in certificates and would need to cover the $4.99 +tax, so it'd cost you $7.39 simply to use them up. Most titles that popup at $20 new at BB usually hit $10 used at EB, less the Edge discount that's about $10 actually after tax without the need to buy full priced games.

If you aren't going to maximize your certificates on the cheap rack you can think of it as buying 2 games @ $80 each and getting $12.50 off each...

I guess I'll still order games that I'd pickup at full price regardless, so getting anything back there is good :whistle2:k

O.P. needs to change the thread title - these are unfortunately not "Deals".       :wall:

Get 25x Reward Zone Points
When You Pre-Order Games During E3!
That's a $25 value based on the purchase of a $79.99 game

Plus, Score 10x Points
On Video Game Purchases Until The End Of 2016

(2)Some exclusions apply. 25x RewardZone points on video game pre-orders between June 10-16, 2016. 25x points equals approximately $25 in value on a $79.99 game.

(3)Only Reward Zone Gamers Club members who pre-order a game from June 10-16, 2016 can qualify for the 10x points promotion. 10x points is applicable to new video games ordered/purchased between June 17-Dec 31, 2016 and cannot be combined with any other RZ points offers. Reward Zone points will be automatically added to your Reward Zone Gamers Club account 36 days after the pickup/shipping date.

@ragnar14 I feel your pain; we tried to purchase our PS3 a number of years ago using RewardZone Point certificates. We tried twice to buy it using mostly RewardZone certificates, but on both occasions the cash register system wouldn't let us do it. That's when we learned that you can't use RWC towards any portion of the Taxes on a purchase - which of course is not in writing anywhere, online or in-store. We eventually just gave in, as our hands were tied; it's not like we could use the RWC somewhere else? - and saved some of our certificates for another future purchase.

Re: This BB E3 "Deal"; it's pretty lame, but at least if later in the year you HAVE to pre-order a game immediately for some reason (rather than waiting for a pre-order promotion), you get 10x Points (assuming you already pre-ordered something between June 10-16th).

Should note, that it's 55% for Onyx members. Also, Amazon is hiding the prices on some of the games. This is a terrible year for E3 deals in the end.

If I'm figuring this out right. FFXV is $49.96 in my cart right now. Does the 30% promo still apply to this new price? Because if so, I'm basically getting it for $40 after taxes.

That's assuming they will have the 30% in a separate promotion later.
I think almost dumb not to secure it at that price now, and hoping it gets another 30% later (it is automatically adjust the double-dip discount). If not, you can just request CSR to get it adjusted (if you find a lucky one).

Ordered Trails of Cold Steel 2, Corpse Party and the FF15LE.

I don't see any sort of note on these orders guaranteeing the 25x points. Corpse Party and FF15LE could be exempt from the promo cause they're LE's? Gotta love that, you need to wait till the return/price protection windows are closed to confirm the deal even worked...

If you have an old FF15 30% off order from a previous promo, then yes you're in at $35 +tax. This is why you order everything and cancel later if needed. I had an ancient Future Shop order on FF15 that I thought was unbeatable @ $49, but I still tossed in that Amazon preorder when they popped it at 30% :)

CAG was offline.

Thanks!

CAG was offline for majority of the day, and I couldn't post.

Hmm, that's an odd term. Does that mean 1 copy of each discounted game? Or only 1 game? Or only 1 order?

I already quickly ordered a dozen games or so, and I probably will still want more stuff that's announced at E3.

I don't know, I'd also like an explanation. Right now I'm planning a single massive order because of this weird rule.

Usually when they have that statement, it means that the 20% promo will only be triggered once.

But if you have pre-order in multiple sets, and you still trigger the discount then you have nothing to worry about.

Worst come to worst, you can always have 1 big fat order with all of your games.

I was skimming over a topic at Neogaf, and it sounded like some guy ordered both Pokemon's individually with separate orders and got discounts on both of them. So probably the term means there's a limit of 1 copy of each game per person. Which is good I suppose, less flippers ordering 10 copies of each game.

Edit: Found a different Neogaf post that suggested they've talked with CSRs, and it's one order per customer:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=206348821&postcount=263

If more stuff pops up that I want I'll just batch up a huge order with everything together.

I might OPT for Trails of Cold Steel 2 off Amazon now.

Bestbuy added the Persona LE:

I'm gonna leave my EB instore pickup in place, just in case BB squishes it in the mail.

Also I browsed into the full 3DS section without using the handy sale link, and noticed the Monster Hunter n3DSXL has the points blurb on its listing. So it may get 25x points? If you wanted it anyways, why not. Limited 3DSs are good flip bait, so I might get one...

I'm currently trying to get amazon to give the 20% off discount to World Of Final Fantasy since it didnt apply the E3 promotion at the checkout even though it's listed as eligible game for the discount, i dont think the fact that it's already $20.00 off the list price should matter since that's just a standard(albeit bigger then normal) savings and not a promotion

Some of you seem to be under the impression that you should be getting 20% any E3 game you pre-order at amazon regardless if it is already discounted. There are 2 pre-order promotions going on right now, one for 20% off and the other for up to 30$ off.

If you order FF15 at 50$, it's under the up to 30$ off promotion, the 20% off promotion should not apply to it as well. That being said, customer service reps are pretty stupid sometimes and you might get lucky but you definitely should not expect to get both promotions to apply to your orders.

Are you talking about my post? I was talking about World of Final Fantasy which just has an irrelevant $20 off the list price and it says it qualifies for the 20% off E3 promotion.

Yes, their policy states that clearly that you get it at the lowest price between the time you preorder and when it's released.... and they discount the 30% at the time of shipping... so those of us that preordered last year are getting it for $49.99 plus taxes, minus 30% :)

Well, pre-ordered a copy of Ghost Recon Wildlands and Battlefield 1 at $49.96 each, but so far that's all that interests me this year.
