Purchasing Best Buy Gift Card with Ebay Gift Card Issues

I am curious is anyone else has had this issue before.

Since Monday I have been attempting to redeem a $100 eBay gift card towards a Best Buy gift card with email delivery. I have purchased these from the seller before with no issues. I even did it on Sunday.

Before anyone asks why, I do this as a way to move Gamestop Credit to Best Buy. I have been off and on the phone with both eBay and Paypal support attempting to get the issue resolved. I was finally told today that the transaction is getting flagged as suspicious because I am attempting to buy a gift card with a gift card and that I have to wait 24 hours before attempting to purchase it again. 

I am wondering if anyone else that has used this to move credit before has had similar problems in the past? And if so, does the issues go away after a few days?

I'm considering doing the same. Has waiting the 24 hours fixed your issue?

The limit is $1,000 within a rolling 30 days.  It's an automated thing don't worry about the long term consequences.  It just keeps you from hoarding too many at once.

Waiting 24 hours hasn't fixed anything. Seems like it is tied to my mailing/billing address as I can't even order one using my wife's Paypal and eBay account. Son of a bitch...

I've been having the same issue but the other way around (redeeming a bestbuy giftcard towards a ebay giftcard). I get an e-mail that my order was placed successfully then 3-10 minutes later i get an e-mail that my order was cancelled. I'll try buying the giftcard in person and just let them scan my phone.
