They really spoke too soon when they said they would slow down. I know many of these were signed up for before they said that but it certainly doesn't seem like they're trying to slow down at all.

Wish LRG would respond to why they haven't slowed down. Between this and the pay a month in advance preorder model, I've slowed down my LRG purchases significantly.

Some people may whine about how there are too many releases, yet their releases are still selling out. Eventually, if not within the hour. LRG would be wise to ignore the whiners as they clearly don't know what they're talking about.

Wish LRG would respond to why they haven't slowed down. Between this and the pay a month in advance preorder model, I've slowed down my LRG purchases significantly.

It's been explained many times before, as they signed a bunch of titles, and their working thru the list. I love LRG, I think Doug & Josh are genuine good guys, trying to provide fan service to fans. On the same note, nothing they have shown me has the smallest inclination of organization, or well thought out plans. So if we can't get proper release info, pricing, contents, etc, until almost release week or later, why would the same two guys magically clear thru years of contracts, in a matter of months?

We just saw a game shipped within the last few weeks, that was over a year old. Why would that same level of planning, all of a sudden get done with who knows how many titles in how ever many months? You guys are looking for action and abilities that I don't see happening anytime soon. The can't be slow, disorganized, and lost on one hand, and fast, neat and accurate on the other. You guys need to pick a side, and stand behind it, as this "these guys suck", but the "should be perfect" is just about as silly as it gets.

Some people may whine about how there are too many releases, yet their releases are still selling out. Eventually, if not within the hour. LRG would be wise to ignore the whiners as they clearly don't know what they're talking about.

This was and is my mind set, and they should have told those guys to go  Fuck themselves from the start. Because if its not to many games, it's to bad on the pricing, to slow on the shipping, qty's to low, qty's to high, the list of issues will never end. At least this issue brings in constant revenue and puts US citizens to work.

I guess offering more qty's, with less releases may work out to the same in the long run, but that's if those larger qty titles move in the manner expected. From the start, this plan was brilliant, as offering small limited releases has been proven, and is still working today. Just because tons of guys have ask for better quality, doesn't mean that a 5000-8000 game is going to sell out in the time hoped. Maybe now, a game lasting a month is what will be considered good, I don't know, as it's not been discussed much. Of course the Vita is ending, and moving to the NS is a logical choice, but who knows how the larger qty's may fare in that market?

Selling out with 2,000-3,000 copies isn't the same as selling out with 5,000-6,000 copies.

Isn't it just a bunch of ports that have been announced so far? I've heard of like 4 switch games they're doing and I already have them for another console.

That's why I'm hoping for something new to be announced and not just dates/prices for what we already know about.

I thought they teased Golf Story as being one of their first titles a few months back....

In theory, aren't all these LRG releases ports? (And before anyone answers, yes, this is a rhetorical questions since everything has had at least a PC and/or mobile version before LRG released their versions).

I like the concept of visual novels. It's like reading a book, accompanied by some great art, and often the reader has some input into which direction the story goes. That said, I've yet to play (or 'read' if you will) a visual novel that was any good.

DanganRonpa and Steins;Gate are fantastic.

Selling out with 2,000-3,000 copies isn't the same as selling out with 5,000-6,000 copies.

And? Their goal is to not have stale inventory leftover. While I agree that some games could use a higher print run, a lot of times they’re not going to sell 5000 copies of a game.

Teased, yes, but not officially announced like Mercenary Kings.

I think Golf Story is the one Switch exclusive title that would make a huge splash as their first game.  The multiplatform titles wouldn't be nearly as impressive.  Though, say something like Celeste making its physical debut on Switch - that would be extremely impressive too!

Hopefully this means we'll be getting details on all four today (and that one is Golf Story and/or something new):

EDIT: Sorry, didn't notice this was already posted yesterday.

Yeah, Golf Story is the only game thus far that will 100% be a buy for me. Flinthook will probably be the second, as I didn't get it for the PS4, and it really looked cool. The other games, I'll just wait and see what is offered. I might get SMRPG, but undecided at the moment.

I've just been assuming that the four games are the ones listed at the bottom of the "Upcoming Releases" web page? I could be wrong...

Correction: Only three games are listed. Would love to see Golf Story be one of them...but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

I feel like it's going to fall through, if it was ever even a possibility. The game has been getting WAAYYY too much hype to have a limited run...

Well, it was never officially announced, but I don't think they would have pulled out of the deal(if it happened to begin with). They could do 10,000 copies, and still maybe not sell them all. Golf Story while very popular is a niche game to say the least. Maybe the developer opted for a full retail release, but who knows? I'm still hopeful it will happen, as it's really the only must have mention thus far.

EDIT: BTW, did anyone else notice on the Upcoming releases page, the Battle Princess was the only game to not show the system? I know they reached a stretch goal of offering a Vita version, but only the PS4 got an official physical stamp at the time(and PC of course). I really hope this is a sign they are going to try and offer a Vita physical as well. As that would be my system of choice, but I'll get PS4 if that's all that's offered. A physical NS option would be awesome as well.

Well, we don't know LRG pricing for NS titles, but I honestly would rather get it thru them, as full retail may drive the price up. LRG has also mention they maybe doing the preorder system again for NS titles, so the details of that remain a mystery. At this point, I don't think anyone wanting any NS games will be coming up short, especially if 5000 is the minimum run size.

I'd say regular retail typically drives the price down, not up. We'll likely see it released at the digital price--or close to it--and there is potential for GCU, Prime, sales, free shipping, no need to by in first 5 minutes, etc. I'd be fine with seeing a retail release for Golf Story, as--just like with Owlboy--that provides me with a lot more options and some guaranteed savings.

Glad the prices are finally up but I just realized the available copies for Nurse Love CE is incredible small like maybe the smallest I have seen.  I'm going to probably have to prepared myself for some disappointment.
