Keep in mind that this remote is not made my Sony (they unfortunately have not made one for the PS4).

Picked one up today. It's an officially licensed remote and is quite nice. It is similar to the Sony PS3 remote but a little thinner and ultimately a bit more ergonomic. Only thing I wish it had is the only thing I wish the PS3 remote had: backlit buttons. Makes it hard to use in the dark

I have one of these and I am not a big fan of it. There always seems to be a delay when I hit the buttons. And when I don't use it for a while it almost seems like it shuts off and I have to wait a few seconds for it to turn back on. And it seems to go through batteries really quickly.

Maybe I just got a bad one, but be beware.

The instructions state that it goes into sleep mode after 30 (I think) minutes and you have to hit the ps button to wake it up

What's the point of getting one? Serious question, is it even worth it?
It's nice to have a remote handy instead of a dualshock when watching video. To me it's worth it. I use my PS3 remote every single night to turn on my PS3 and watch Netflix before bed. Now I will get to have the same treatment downstairs on my ps4.

It's also nice to be able to use this and leave your DualShock 4 on the charger--every PS4 owner knows just how short the battery life of a DS4 is.

I didn't even know they finally made a remote for PS4.  I would have bought this at regular price in a heartbeat had I known, so I'm all over this!  Thanks!

This and a slight delay when press pretty much any button is why I returned the one I preordered on Amazon. It's pretty terrible and I still do not understand why they could just repackage the perfectly fine PS3 Bluetooth remote to work with it. If a PS Move Wand can work for VR then why not that?

Why not ? Give it a shot for $10. Hopefully, my dad will like it. He's been using the DS4 to navigate thru Netflix. Time to upgrade for Papa bear. Thanks OP !

I rarely watch movies and stream on my ps4. The video settings on my TV for gaming and watching movies are drastically different and it's annoying to change.

Anyone have a screenshot of the cart at $9.99?  I bought it June 5th, and during the sale customer service was closed.  Now they need a screenshot showing the lower price.

thanks for this! Was waiting for it to hit $10. I'll use the heck out of it since the wife and I always curse the DS4 when we're watching Netflix or Hulu because we always bump it and it skips or whatever. And it's such a  hassle to turn it off. So yeah, looking forward to using it.

That said... I bought it yesterday and it was dead out of the box. Hahahahaha. Brand new batteries and it did nothing. Never had an electronic do that to me before. Exchanged and the new one works just fine.

So far its been pretty good, feels better then the ps3 version BUT

If you use Hulu, beware as the O button does not work, there is no way to go back in the app without closing the application.

Otherwise it works with everything I tried besides Vudu.

I bought this at 10 dollars.  it's useful, but it's not nearly as nice as the PS3 unit was.

I like that this can control the TV, PS4, and my receiver.  It doesn't seem to function as nicely/smoothly as the PS3 unit did.

I just like being able to sit down to watch a movie and not need 3 remotes.   Having 1 remote to control everything is great while watching a movie.
