Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector's Edition - Xbox One BB $74.99 ($59.99 w/ GCU)

Just saw this! I think I'll pick up a copy. How easy is it to swap your digital code with MS?

You can't do that anymore. They only allowed it for like the first 2 weeks. If you want the CE disc, you have to get the one from the other CE somehow.

Wow. Fantastic deal for those interested in the statue. Reviews of the statue are very good, nice high quality paint and solid resin. I'd buy this but already have the limited edition, so I'm not getting anything more from it than the statue.

Sell the other contents for like $30

Same here.

The only thing I'm remotely interested in is the steelbook, and perhaps the Guardian statue. The rest is crap to me.

I aint got time to hock the other stuff.
So, you want a game that comes with a steelbook that doesn't with a game disc? That's some Inception-level thinking right there......

Even at $60 with likely a $20 or so recovery on the H5 digital code, I still can't do it since the thought of a CE with a steelbook and no game disc makes about as much sense as a fish needing a bicycle.

Not defending the DLC game tactic one bit, but your analogy is so fcuking stupid bro...

Even though a DLC card doesn't need a steelbook, the lack of it in the CE would deprive the customers of something that was included in the L.E version. Hence, the inclusion.

I wanted it at a lower price but $60 is decent enough for me.

Then go buy it. I'm passing on it, someone can have the copy I would have bought if it came with a fucking game disc.

Hence, not having a game disc makes the steelbook for a DLC card pretty moronic in my opinion. And yes, it's an opinion.

I have lots of empty game SteelBook cases, including this one (from the console bundle). Most are empty because I trade in the game, some are empty because I buy them that way, and all the rest are empty because I put my games in a binder. These cases are cooler than a regular case regardless of whether or not a game is in them. Also it's not like this case is empty because there is all kinds of other stuff in the case.

It keeps the dust off the card. And you can crack someone over the head with the steelbook and not worry about damaging a disc.

If my Elite Controller didn't LITERALLY just break (like, not even an hour ago), I'd use my extra Best buy credit on this. Too salty at MS for their lack of quality with the thing right now.

Who said I wanted the game disc?

I basically want the statue seeing my Wife bought me the Halo 5 Edition XB1 for Xmas so I have the steel case and stuff but im going to hope for it to be sub $50 after GCU before I bite... I always eventually get these LE editions super cheap...

I got the Halo 3 one for $24.99 at gamestop when at the time the stand alone copy was still like $50 lol

Oh, I'm not dropping another $150 on that thing. A 90-day warranty is unacceptably bad. I can't trust Microsoft to give me a good piece of hardware for that price and guarantee. Instead, I'll probably look at one of the replacement part kits on eBay and try to fix it myself, since the thing's got a broken left bumper, a loose left stick, and a Guide button that sticks. Might as well spend $20-30 to see if I can fix it, vs. just throwing it away, but no way I'm paying that price for no decent warranty a second time.

Just got mine and judging by the unboxing videos I knew it was going to be big, but no, the thing is FREAKING MASSIVE! I honestly got no space to put the darned thing lol. Not concerned at all about the digital copy, wanted it digital anyway, but boy are the statues huge.

It's a single code for the game and the REQ Pack.
Yeah. Already had the limited edition but got the collectors edition for the statues and to get the game digital. It came out as " Halo 5 Guardians Digital Deluxe Edition" and I got an additional 2 premium requisition packs out of the deal, totaling me at 4 premium requisition packs counting the ones from the limited edition.

Wtf did you do to that thing. Both of my elite controllers are tanks.

Nothing until recently. The paddles never seemed to read quite right. The stick and Guide buttons, no clue what their deal was. I was super careful with it forever, putting it back in the zippered case until it started falling apart anyway. However, this weekend, I finally dropped it, and the LB (which was already a little off) broke. That's the one thing I can say is on me, the rest is seemingly indicative of my bad luck with it. Meanwhile, I've dropped my Lumia 950 a billion times, and it's totally fine.
