Bravely Second: End Layer $24 with GU (Today Only)

Okay; I think I can weasel my way out of feeling like a little bitch for caving.

I've got a Best Buy gift card that was discounted, plus reward certificates. All things considered I'd be getting the game far below MSRP.

The first was never deeply discounted, so I might pick it up now.

Being unable to find the first Bravely Default for under $50 or so, I'm kind of tempted to grab this just to not end up in the same situation down the road. Even GameStop is charging $49.99 for used copies of Bravely Default. :(

I picked it up at target two months ago for the retail, $40. Sure beats the jacked up prices or getting raped for a used copy at GS.

BTW thanks OP I might pick this up since I have a $5 point cert as well.

I have the first so I ordered this one. Price is right and I am going to pick up 10 Cloverfield Lane steelbook so figured I could nab this too.

Ordered...I may not play it for a while but...I don't want it to be expensive later.

EDIT: wow my copy shipped already.

Aye, the first had.. problems and I hear the sequel has even more "Filler" along with lots of recycled content.
I'm talking about the various changes that they made for the localization. I didn't agree with them, so I decided to take a stand and not buy the game.

And then I caved like the Batmobile after a night on patrol.

I haven't finished the first...but it's always tricky to play with first party nintendo games and how low they will go dance. This price is decent, so i'll bite before it goes OOP and becomes expensive or something.

I did. I've heard Bravely Default has started to go up in price already and I remember it being widely available for quite sometime and also had seen it for cheap numerous times. I think Bravely Second is significantly less popular and had way less hype than the first game did.

Found a b1g1 free bluray deal on the site so I ordered two movies along with Bravely Default to qualify for free shipping. Can't wait to watch the Last Dragon in HD quality.

If you have Fred Meyer in your area, perhaps check there for the original. I was able to find Bayonetta 2 (original run) a few months back there.

Or if in Portland area, I was able to get the first one about a month ago at Walmart in Battleground and they had a ton left.

FWIW for anyone in the area, the Walmart on 13600 Sw 288Th St in Homestead FL still has 3 copies of Bravely Default for 24$ in the glass case under a Marvel Lego game, at least according to brother who was kind enough to pick me up a copy last night.

I had asked him to check the next time he has there since brickseek show it had one or less but apparently it had 4 (now 3) when my brother checked.

What changes?
I remember the changes in the original was upscaling the ages (I agreed with) but censoring/modifying the costumes
