Yup! The CE definitely not worth the retail price tag! Only wanted the steelbook too. Not really into the multiplayer since im stuck plating overwatch pc! Just stumbled on the deal since i was buying a giftcard. Lol!
 
Thanks for this. I was waiting for a sale on the game alone but bit at one of the SE for $49.99.
 
I am not sure if I wanna get this right now.. I am thinking that the price will go lower but then again maybe its a limited stock only....Any advice?

 
The major retailers... Gamestop, bestbuy, target, even amazon still has these in stock. Frys is the 1st retailer that has this at its lowest price to date. Im guessing the big retailers will eventually make the pricecut but who knows when and by how much. Its still safe to wait. But like i said in my initial post i price matched at bestbuy hoping that the price cut will happen within my return window so i can eventually price adjust for better discount. Hehe
 
Submitted for price adjustment with BB.  I have elite plus so should have a total of 45 days, which this is within.

I love this game, but I traded it in when it was still a high value, so I will make out pretty good.

If you picked it up at launch, the 45 day window ended June 24th.

plus you can't post-purchase PM another price at BB anyway. Only works if they lower the price themselves. Now he would have been able to return the BB copy and then buy again at the PM price if it was within 45 days...

I'm pretty sure you can, I've done it in the past. They just don't combine gcu with it.
 
Website said they had stock, went to the store.... All gone. Only the regular game left with the wrong sticker price ($59.99) on the main display, and with the $49.99 on the shelf. 

You've disappointed me, Fry's.

AvengedBacklog is right about the post price match policy. Maybe best buy now internally follows a different policy then what is stated on website but chances are you got a rep who did not know the rules.

  • At the time of sale, we price match all local retail competitors (including their online prices) and we price match products shipped from and sold by these major online retailers: Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com.

Price matching at other retailers should be applied "at time of sale".

  • If we lower our price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request.

Clearly states that if best buy lowers the price, they will provide a price adjustment.

uhhh ok? Duh? Hahaha. The whole point is that it never hurts to ask. If I followed sage CAG advice, I wouldn't have an additional $28 credited.

I benefited from previous mistakes as well. Just that between your post and a previous poster being able to do the same. Some might have started thinking it was a new policy. Just wanted to provide some info about policy before some start thiking its guarateed. But yeah, never hurts to ask.
 
I actually bought mine at BB on 5/18 today I believe is day 43 and I'm still within the threshold. With that being said, I'm walking out of BB rt now with $28.35 here in Cali

Couldn't get BB.com to PM Frys.com due to not having FRYS local and the website saying IN STORE only. The supervisor checked newegg.com on her own, and PM the SE Price of $79.99 for my CE. I also had them PM the Halo 5 CE for me, which was a difference of $10, so basically with that credit I spent the $69.99.

I'm hoping this goes down on BB.com in the next 45 days.
