I haven't played it, but I had a feeling this would be the case.

I debated it when I was faced with a good trade-in value for it. With FFXV on the horizon and the current backlog, life's just too short.

BTW, look at the $50 price for digital. lol. 'but you can play today!'

I have a copy and it just sits on my shelf because I know it would be a huge time sink. I played through uncharted 1-4 instead and I'm pretty sure I would still be playing X if I played that instead.

It looks so good on the shelf though! I bought my copy on Black Friday last year for $9.99 and it's still sealed on my shelf, I haven't had a desire to replay Final Fantasy X let alone give X-2 another chance.

I made the same mistake when I got a ps4, played it for a few hours, barely got past the intro and traded it in right away and gave up.
 
Just like any JRPG, it takes a good while to really get into things in FFX. I'd say 15 hours before you're out of the intro phase. But seeing as the game can easily be 150 hours, that isn't much time. This isn't your starter JRPG game but for any fans of the genre, it's well worth playing especially for a game to play before FFXV comes out which will likely be equally as long.

Damn, $10 would be my price to buy.... Guess I'll wait and see for BF this year. Tried to get it for that price at wal-mart, but of course the website wouldn't let me....

 
I picked it up at walmart a few days ago, still sealed in the gaming shelf...

*shakes fist @ backlog*
