Preorders can be price matched if within the return window. A preorder bonus doesn't change that.Anyone know if the preorder bonus would disallow a price match?
Hmmm... around $3? Not criticizing just making sure I'm not missing somethingI'm not flipping out over this deal, per se. Might do a little flip though.
Hopefully that flip doesn't turn to a flop though.I'm not flipping out over this deal, per se. Might do a little flip though.
Same here. Thanks lite!I'm not flipping out over this deal, per se. Might do a little flip though.
Yes, you should be able to get that back as a PM if you're Eltie Plus.Looks like I picked up the version on June 28th. It's been over a month but I have Elite Plus, so I should be getting $16 back? I originally paid $39.99 after GCU
It's allowed if it happens during the summer.Hopefully that flip doesn't turn to a flop though.
Yes and you get your GCU discount tooAre release date purchases of the game eligible for price adjustments if you're Elite Plus? I know it used to be, but I thought I remember the adjustment window being lowered...
Definitely down for getting $20 back if I can...would make the game an even sweeter deal...
Which CS reps on the phone often forget, so it's best do the math up-front before calling to get a price match from a previous online order. In-store, it won't be an issue since the register does all the work.Yes and you get your GCU discount too

It looks the same to me. The item pages changed a few months ago, though.Checkout screen seems a little different for me. Not the price, like the page layout.
Yeah, ever since GCU's price dropped to peanuts, BB doesn't really seem to give a crap about members anymore.Called in and got a price match done. 3 out of 5 times I mention GCU and they just give me the difference between my purchase price and the sale price, which ends up about 25% higher than it should be. I have tried and failed to tell them it's just 20% off the sale price, so I just go along with it.
The other 2 times GCU is a foreign concept and I have to escalate to get anything at all, and usually end up with some random denomination that's about half of what it should be. I figure I about break even with how it goes.
You nailed it. Somehow reps today know less about GCU than ever before.Called in and got a price match done. 3 out of 5 times I mention GCU and they just give me the difference between my purchase price and the sale price, which ends up about 25% higher than it should be. The email reps aren't any good either sadly as I've had numerous issues price adjusting Infinity figures that way.You nailed it. Somehow reps today know less about GCU than ever before.
PS4 version has the Droid Character Pack available now and the Phantom Limb Level Pack (with trophies!) coming next Tuesday. Both are free and timed exclusives for PlayStation.Any version (Xbox one, PS4) better than the others with exclusive levels, etc. is the deluxe edition worth the extra $10?
Any major difference between the PS4 and Wii U versions?
If not, I'll go with Wii U since it's cheaper.

Good to know. Thank you.PS4 version has the Droid Character Pack available now and the Phantom Limb Level Pack (with trophies!) coming next Tuesday. Both are free and timed exclusives for PlayStation.
Deluxe Edition has a Season Pass and a Finn Minifig. Season Pass probably won't light the world on fire but for $8 more factoring in GCU plus the Minifig I think it's worth it. Season Pass levels will have trophies too if that's your thing. A couple of Season Pass character packs are out already.
Wii U doesn't have the season pass and I don't think they are getting any DLC separately either.
Thanks! It's worth a 10 minute call for 20 bucks.Called in and got a price match done. 3 out of 5 times I mention GCU and they just give me the difference between my purchase price and the sale price, which ends up about 25% higher than it should be. I called the Elite Plus number and after stating that I wanted to do a Price Match a prerecorded message stated that they'll price match within 15 days with a few exceptions. I've been on hold ever since.Yes, you should be able to get that back as a PM if you're Eltie Plus.
At this point I will just buy things in store so I know I can look someone in the eye and draw illustrations and use a calculator together, if necessary. Yes, this has been a thing. The email reps aren't any good either sadly as I've had numerous issues price adjusting Infinity figures that way.
Good price for this game, I think it's worth picking up today if you're interested since you can trade it in a couple weeks and get most of your money back.
It's in the return period so it counts. The rep doesn't know the right answer. Worst case, buy it again today and return on the old receipt.I called the Elite Plus number and after stating that I wanted to do a Price Match a prerecorded message stated that they'll price match within 15 days with a few exceptions. So is a price match outside the 15 days YMMV? I don't want to push it unless it comes as a benefit dor being a member
This game had a $10 gift cert attached to it and will lose it if he returns on the old receipt. It's in the return period so it counts. The rep doesn't know the right answer. Worst case, buy it again today and return on the old receipt.
I have tried that in the past and was still denied. The rep also escalated it to the manager and that did not help.Just get the rep on the line and direct them to the policy regarding a BestBuy price match within the return period and GCU. It's right on the site in the 2nd to last bulletin on the link I posted earlier.
I expect results and haven't been let down other than random phone disconnects. Speak like a professional and be clear with your instructions. Cut down on stammering and know what you're talking about seems to work wonders. Compliment their name or tell them you don't want to be a pain but...yada yada yada.I have tried that in the past and was still denied. The rep also escalated it to the manager and that did not help.
Where are you guys flipping these to? GS? Barely seems worth the effort. I guess Amazon is an option for several consoles.I have so much eBay credit now, I think it's time to cash out. This is a good way to convert a couple hundred. Thanks!
It's a bestbuy credit to GameStop cash conversion.Where are you guys flipping these to? GS? Barely seems worth the effort.
I didn't know it had a $10 cert attached, which is why I suppose he needs to be stubborn and not give in, since he's in the right with the PM scenario. This game had a $10 gift cert attached to it and will lose it if he returns on the old receipt.

Thanks, I forgot about the cash-same-as-credit promotion. I just ordered 2 copies of the 360 version to trade into amazon. A quick $8 or so turnaround without ever having to step foot in a store. I'll take it.It's a bestbuy credit to GameStop cash conversion.

Where do you sell crap like that? Time vs Money has to be included in any profitable venture.Anybody not getting the Gold Edition or whatever it's called is doing it wrong...the resale on the minifig will actually net you even more money back...
Thanks for the help, Shrike! At first she only wanted to refund me $10.XX. I mentioned GCU and after her math, I received $21.60 back lol I purchased Lego Star Wars TFA with itI didn't know it had a $10 cert attached, which is why I suppose he needs to be stubborn and not give in, since he's in the right with the PM scenario.
