CAGiversary!
I don't want discs. I don't want the clutter.
I happened to be thinking about whether Nintendo has released DKC Returns (Wii) in the eShop for the Wii U. Turns out they have... I could even have gotten it free!... a month ago.
I don't mind that they offered it free and I missed it. It just annoys me that it looks like one of those titles that was offered free for a limited period of time and, if you didn't happened to catch it, then it's gone forever.
Nintendo Land on eShop was the same way with them pulling it just before I bought my Wii U.
3DS has a series of GBA games which were offered for free to early adopters of the 3DS.. I came on just after that.
Just to be clear:
- I'm OK that I missed the free window on this. I get promotions and all that.
- It annoys me that Nintendo has a history of playing this game with their eShop.
You'd think that it was a product people wanted to buy and that they have already made it that they'd be willing to just sell it to you.
