Xbox One S 2TB + Halo 5 LE + Doom + Quantum - $400 Ebay Newegg

Wow, this is a really good deal. If I wasn't so saturated with games and dry on funds I'd be all over it.

I bit too. Was in the same conundrum. Now I feel so dirty. Lol
I'm tempted myself, figure after trading my system into BB and trading in the games that comes with it would be looking at around $200 for the new system.

But I don't have a 4k tv so I think I'm a wait :(

Guess it's good news they're pumping out deals day one

so much of me getting this console had to do with me buying a 4K TV about 3 weeks ago during the Prime Day 20% off Warehouse deals coupon day. I feel like I MUST TEST IT OUT.

I just got a 4K Samsung 8000 series with uhd and HDR. Can't wait to put this bad boy on it. Lord. Hyped.

Hmm do you guys think we will see more deals
Im wondering about this myself...I cant believe that day ONE we got essentially ~$75 in value free...I wonder if the preorder numbers for this were really small...

I honestly didn't think we would see a deal on this until christmas...

crap games < Gears

Agreed ;)
Games aren't crap persay, but you can't really compare the two in all honesty. All those games can be had at clearance prices compared to the GoW4 Ultimate Digital Edition that comes with the Season pass and a shit ton of digital content.

Thoughts on eBay Bucks...?

I qualify for 10% back, but I have no experience with eBay's reward program.
It's good if you buy on ebay a lot.

But if not, then it's still good, but it is slightly weird. I don't know if things changed, but I believe you need to earn $5 or more in a 3? month period to get the bucks. Then after, they issue you it and that is applied to your account, but it is only valid for 1 month. Then your bucks expire. If you don't hit $5, you lose anything earned those 3 months and have to start over again the next period of 3 months.

So if you don't use ebay much, a lot of times you won't hit that $5 threshold and you lose it. It's no biggie honestly, since it is just extra incentive. It isn't like it costs anything to be in the program. It just sucks to see them vanish, and having to wait through these periods.

Again, I don't know the exact time frames and numbers that I mentioned, but I believe those were the terms in the past.

damn indeed, bummer gamestop stopped selling ebay gift cards, had about $300 ready to spend in store

fantastic deal

my $500 + tax on day 1 is such a huge L now, I ain't ever buying a launch system ever again

well you can buy gift cards with the ebay bucks so worst case scenario dont let your ebay buck expire just buy best buy gift cards or even ebay gift cards with them and then you can use them whenever. You must earn a minimum of $5 to get an ebay bucks certificate which is about $250 dollars spent unless theres a promo like the 10% back its usually only $2 per dollar..

Yea, but sometimes one might forget. I do since it's not a big amount and a lot of times I might have something to buy, but wait and then it expired. But do they sell gift cards as low as $5? I usually only see $25 increments on paypal digital gifts. Third party sellers usually jack up the prices. If you're talking about putting it towards a larger amount, then that's not the best use for my situation. Even though you save, you still are spending more money.

But also, I was mainly talking about how you lose whatever you earned if you don't hit the $5 threshold. So say you earned 4.99 and the earning period ended, you lose it. That's the part that sucks.

Straight up. That day one controller is a daily reminder of how Microsoft boned me.

Why does it seem like MS likes to screw over early adopters like that? Case in point with the 2tb X1s that came out today. People are having to shell out $400-450 (depending on taxes) for this new console, but there is not even a digital download included?

In just a few weeks the other models will release: the lowly 500gb model even gets not one, but two Halo games (and really a lot more than that, technically. If you think of all that the MCC has). The 1tb model gets Madden 16, which releases that day! It's not my cup of tea, but that's easily recoup-able $40-50 of savings to help defray the cost of the console.

Sorry for the rant, but that has been bugging me; I really wanted to get that console today (I too have a brand spankin new 4k HDR tv), but the CheapAss in me is forcing myself to wait 3 weeks for the 1tb, as I see it as the best value.

Finally more on topic, I wish my credit wasn't locked into GS right now, because I would otherwise get this deal. That's an incredible value with physicAL copies, anso especially if you have the eBay 10% offer.

Was close to buying, but decided to wait for the 500gb version to be released later this month since I'll be getting the Scorpio next year.  Seems like a waste to pay for a larger hdd when I'll just sell it next year for the next Xbox.

A very tempting deal but I'll just have to pass since I want to get the Scorpio next year instead. Still an amazing good deal for those in the market for XB1 S.

I hope the Neo will have bundles like this and good timing for 10% ebay bucks. I want a uhd blu-ray player, but there just aren't enough Xbox exclusives I want since I already have a 4k gaming PC.

Was considering waiting for the Halo bundle but now that this one is bundles with games, I feel is a good deal too like the later bundles. Sold, bought one. Thanks OP.
