I guess you can listen to Wombat's other podcast, Uninformed Opinions.

Suicide Squad did extensive reshoots because it scored poorly with test audiences. Maybe some of those deleted scenes would've been better but don't fool yourself into thinking it was a good movie made bad by studio interference. It was going to be bad either way. Since critics hated it but audience mostly seem to think it's mostly ok I think they made the right choice.

Despite loving Farcry 4, Primal didn't really grab me a few months ago. Since Wombat was enjoying it I gave it another chance, and I've been enjoying it quite a bit. I don't think it handles the enemy outpost stuff as well, but the different pets makes up for it.

So excited to see the podcast up! It always goes to the top of my playlist when it comes in and makes my commute shorter.

Hey Wombat, I'm interested to hear more about your experience with MUA. I bought the original Xbox version, then upgraded it to the shinier 360 version and played the crap out of it.

MUA2 wasn't as good but I still played the crap out of that, too.

A few months ago I bought both of them (again) from an Xbox Live sale on the 360; $10 each with all DLC, hoping that they would become backward compatible.

The following week I saw a leak that the remasters were coming. I refuse to pay $60 for this new, broken version (broken per all the reviews); but yeah, if it gets to $20-30 I'm sure I will break down and pull the trigger.

I wish they'd just make MUA 3.

Anyway, thanks for a great show!

Lucioball is inherently limited time because it's one of the variants of the Brawl mode in Overwatch. Also, the main point that Wombat didn't really get because he doesn't play Overwatch is that the mode itself is not great. It's extremely thin and definitely not an alternative to actual Rocket League. I agree that it's a bit gross that they aped some elements of Rocket League (the ball being the biggest offender), but it feels like more of an homage than a ripoff.

Lucioball is a good thing because it shows blizzard is willing to do completely different modes for weekly brawls. though playing lucioball just made me want to play rocket league instead, it isn't any fun. The better version of lucioball is federation force blastball since you can always be shooting the ball but no one is going to play that game.

If the rumors for the NX are true, it sounds like you could just have the screen with a bluetooth controller although I agree with wombat in saying that is too much to carry.

This.

Brawls change weekly, but in this case it's an Olympics special brawl. I doubt they would keep Lucioball in when Rocket League exists (and is much much better).

Wombat can't get behind OW simply because he was getting nuked every single round, probably.

I bought the MUA remaster just in case Activision is using this as a test to gauge interest. (I really disliked Vicarious Visions's MUA2 so I passed on that one.) I hope they pardon Raven from the Call of Duty purgatory they've been in and let them do Marvel games again. No studio handled Marvel games better. They always put so much attention and care into each game. It really showed they were fans and knew the characters and history better than some comic book professionals.
