I asked them some time ago, and they told me that it could be either, if you want the code just put it in the checkout message and he'll send it. That's what he said based on the email I sent him.
 
I ordered last night and I got an email saying they will email a code and only reply to the email if I wanted a card mailed out instead.
 
Yeah, looks like they automatically email unless you tell them mail. I got a code and it worked just fine.
 
Huh.  They just put mine in the mail a couple hours after I placed the order.  Not like it matters anyway since I don't need to renew until next month, but mine's supposed to show up next week. 

 
Yeah I got the email, and just had something ship to my house as well.
As long as I get the code (and it works) by the end of the month I'm happy.
 
Code, unless you reply to their email asking to ship a card. Though they do tell eBay that they've "shipped" an item.

This is probably a dumb question, but does redeeming the 1 year code add 12 months on top of whatever you have remaining in your subscription, or does it start the year over?

For example, my PS+ expires in October. Can I redeem my year code now, or should I wait till then to not waste any months?

It's pretty funny, I got emailed my code and was satisfied. Today I open up my physical mail and they sent a letter in a padded envelop that basically says, check your email.

 
I got that email about the code at first, didn't respond so i could get the digital code.. Got a shipment notification coming monday.

Still have not received any further emails on the code.. they said within 48 hours, it's been almost 3 days now. 

If I get that letter telling me to check my email.... not going to be happy. the letter better have the code/card in it.

Soo.... just got the little package with the paper telling me he emailed me the code.... no he didn't. Check eBay messaging, nada.

i don't mean to hijack the thread, op, but when i tried to get the deal you posted i happened to notice an even better deal for only $25!
