RPG reccomendations?

This combination might be impossible to find. I want a RPG of some sort for my phone. Something is free, doesnt have intrusive ads, no micro transactions, can easily be played with just the touch screen, and has a decent story.

Dragon Quest 8 was free a couple weeks back through Amazon. You likely have to pay full price now but that most certainly fits the bill of what you want.

I nabbed it through the amazon site to add to my account.

I didnt install it yet as it seemed like people were complaining about the controls on it.

This is late sorry, but I honestly was extremely impressed with the controls on it for a mobile game and I am always the first to write off a mobile game largely due to my hatred for touch controls. Many people in the thread I recall gave it high praise as well. I highly recommend you download it and try it yourself.

Try MU Origins Mobile...

If you are familiar with the MU Online PC you can easily relate to the mobile game version.

Well, I've been playing this MU Origin game for a week now and I didn't experience any ads while playing literally no ads 100% so far.

As for Micro Transactions, well they're not forced if you are patient enough to play the game for free then you're fine but there is progress. I haven't spent any money yet, not on my plans for now.

You are right as most mobile games always either intrusive ads or micro transactions. But there are a bunch of Free 2 Play RPG games. Their recommendations are good.
