Any good deals on a 2TB hard drive?

Only 2.5" 2TB HDD that works in the PS4 is the Spinpoint M9.  Usually it goes on sale at NewEgg.com for $89.99 from time to time, though the only way you'll find it cheaper is to pull it from an external 2.5" HDD.    It depends on which model, since some of aren't a 2.5" HDD with a SATA-to-USB bridge connected to it, as others have a soldered interface on the drive and it won't be usable in the PS4.

There's third-party vendors that sell the drives as well, having done the pulls from an external drive themselves, though the bare drives don't have any warranty should the drive fail.

This is the link on Newegg.com for the drive, currently at $120:

This is another option but it will require a bit more work. You will have to pry open the enclosure to take the HDD out, good thing is you can put the original HDD in the enclosure. Currently $79.99

And you end up with a drive that has no warranty, as the bare drive has no warranty, just the unopened external drive. Crack the case on the external and you end up with a drive that has no warranty.

Some of those external drives have a soldered-on USB interface, which makes them useless. Most of them, you luck out and it's a bridge board you can remove with little effort.

Points worth stressing again, as they were mentioned above.

All good points shrike has made, with variable failure rates it's better to protect your investment as long as possible without voiding any warranty you may be eligible for.
