Awesome, happy birthday!

I don't normally take pictures, but I took this one for my roommate's girlfriend after she made me this epic cake during college. I'd say it was about 14" wide by 8" tall, and was made entirely of dutch chocolate with pieces of chocolate in between four layers of rich peanut butter frosting. The outer shell is a full bar of baker's dark chocolate layered underneath with peanut butter. I think it's the reason why adult onset diabetes is a thing. There were seven of us, and we ate half. I brought the rest to the ladies' dorm next door. I enjoy this picture because it epitomizes college life for me. So I'd say this was my best celebration.

My birthday is in November, and I live up north, so my gf and I usually take a vacation somewhere on our birthdays. We both work a lot, so most of our vacation time is spent relaxing and sightseeing. We went to Bali last year and visited some of the temples there. It was pretty awesome. But my most memorable birthday gift (and perhaps celebration too) was my gf.

Four years ago, I had my 24th birthday party at a friend's house. They always bragged me up as the guy who never gets drunk, so a few ladies my friend invited approached me at the party and said, "What would it take to get you drunk?" So I started mixing shots of Jameson and Sailor Jerry's together in a candle holder and drank that for every 1 shot my friends took. I'd say I put in about 25 shots and a few beers within two hours, and it was pretty evident that I drank too much. Those girls knew it too, and they lead me outside into some bushes where one of them tried having her way with me.

I remember a bit of the frisky part, combined with the horrible feeling of projectile vomiting rising from the pit of my stomach. I hadn't been chasing the shots, and I knew throwing up in this girl's face would spell doom. So I tried to get away and immediately tripped. I ended up hearing by word of mouth that the whole scene was like a comedy skit, where I stumbled backwards out of the bushes with my pants around my knees and kept stumbling while flailing my arms until I hit the lip of this unused, unwashed in-ground pool and doing a complete backflip into the primordial sludge at the bottom. We're talking stagnant water full of everyone's piss from that night, combined with I can only assume was even more piss (and possibly puke) from the whole summer before that.

I fell in on the deep end and scarred up my legs on the cement bottom.

My friends were shouting at me to make my way out, but I was completely lost. I puked and then fell down again. This girl I'd only met a few times before jumped down to the edge of the water and grabbed my hand, then she put my arm around her and led me out of the pool and straight to the bathroom. She closed the door and got me undressed and into the shower. I had some blood on my legs from falling, and she cleaned it out. I was in the shower for a long time. She got me out eventually, got me some food and water, and got me into some clean clothes. It was about 5am when I finally passed out on a couch. When my friend woke me up around 3, I was nested in some blankets with a pillow under my head. My wallet was drying out and my phone was in a bag of rice. And I was pasty white.

She called me up later that night. She got my number from one of my friends and wanted to see if I was okay. I thanked her for helping me out so much, and she said I could repay the favor by taking her out for dinner some day. So I did, and we've been together ever since.

Happy Freakin' Birthday! Enjoy the rest of your day!

(BTW don't include me in the contest just came to say Happy Birthday)

Happy a time of celebrating the outcome of your mum and dad having a crush on one another. Looks like they made a memory to treasure.

Cheers!

I would put my last great birthday celebraction down on here but no one wants to hear about my one and only orgy.

Congrats to the winners and best of wishes to the 40 year old celebrator!

Sorry no pics as I rarely take any.

The best gift I got was the original Atari 2600. My family didn't come from money and for my parents to buy a $150 system back in the day was the most memorable bday present I ever received.

My most memorable bday was the time I got 3 cakes.  I went to work and my co-workers bought me a cake. My gf also bought me one of my favorite cakes - Chocolate Dream Cake. My mom also bought me my another favorite cake - Strawberry. I love cakes and to receive 3 cakes with two being my favorite was awesome for me. I was on cake high for days.

Happy Birthday!

Sorry. I also have no pictures. My birthday is pretty close to Christmas, so I can't recall any gift/birthday as being memorable.

But I have a memorable story that occurred on my Birthday... Christmas 1987 (I think?) I received a copy of The Legend of Zelda.

My father was a local politician at the time and had won a seat for the local board of commissioners, and his inauguration ceremony was scheduled on my birthday, about a month after Christmas.

As luck would have it, I reached the final battle with Gannon minutes before we were supposed to leave for my father's inauguration. I wouldn't leave until I beat Gannon and watched the entire closing credits. We still made it to the ceremony on time (barely), but my parents weren't happy with my delay.

My father would have either turned off the system and grounded me or left me behind.

Happy Birthday!  how you had a great celebration!

Fav birthday from work buddies when I was traveling for work on my B day.

Favorite birthday present was my Super Nintendo with Link to the past during my 7th birthday.  My dad surprised me.

I spent the whole day at exploring the land of Hyrule.  Those were the days.

My favorite birthday was last year when I officially turned old. lol. My wife through me surprise "still hot at 40" party.

My favorite gift was seven years ago. My birthday was just a few days after our wedding. We were on our honeymoon in New York and my parents, knowing how much we both love theater (we met on stage) got of third row tickets to see Wicked on Broadway.

Seeing someone post about traveling for work on their birthday made me think of something cool two co workers did for me for my birthday. Can't believe I almost forgot about this.

I was in FL attending a seminar and when we arrived in FL I mentioned that I wanted to go to Rickey's of Hollywood (Billy Mitchell's restaurant and featured in "The King of Kong"). My birthday is later in the week.

So my birthday rolls around and my coworkers decide that we're making the hour-long trip to Rickey's. Billy was no where to be seen, but the wings were the best I ever had.

Don't have good pics of this. It was probably my 30th bday. Rented a party bus with a bunch of friends and drove around Seattle going to a ton of bars

People got kicked out of bars, there was vomiting on the bus, people falling over, it was a blast!

Best gift? A few years ago my wife gave me a pie a month for a year!

Best Birthday gift? Man, I hate my birthdays because I'm getting so old. I'm like, another year and I'm still not rich..... back to work. Probably a free BJ from my wife... No PIC!

No pics that I can find, but I got the Millenium Falcon and a bunch of other Star Wars toys for I believe it was my 5th birthday ( was born in 74), which happens to be 5 days before Christmas.

Other "best" gift, was given by my STBX wife for my 39th. I totally could win the losers pool with that one.

Happy Birthday, spacegundam0079!
Sorry. I can't show any pics.

I no longer celebrate my birthday.
About gift:

My best birthday gift was getting kicked out when I turned 18. I didn't even get to enjoy the full day I was out the door by noon. Luckily I found an apartment the very next day, but I at least had my freedom. And I don't have birthday pictures to share sorry.

Edit: I forgot, happy birthday old sexy ass gamer. Lol

On my 21st birthday my aunt gave me $200. We had planned a trip to go to Vegas for my bday we got there around 3am. So being it was my 21st bday I wanted to gamble some. Anyways long story short I lost all the money gambling got down to my last $2 on this slot machine as I hit the button for my last spin I got up pushed my chair in started walking away a little and some how I hit the jackpot on the machine. It wasn't anything crazy but it was $1200. My plan was to be able to buy a ps3 with the money I won but, my friend haggled me into getting a Xbox 360 some how. That weekend I also won another $500 at another casino.. Haven't been lucky ever since.. Was the best bday present ever.

Happy bday by the way.. Sorry I can't include pictures as to I was way to drunk through out this that I didn't get to do any of that. I'm just glad I made out with a console during that time because that's all I was looking forward to for my bday. I just turned 30 this year wasn't the greatest bday either but, there is always next year :).

Happy Birthday

The best birthday gift I ever received was my Sega Saturn with netlink. It was the first time I had ever had access to the Internet. I loved that thing. I wasn't able to get out as much as I would have liked so it opened up a whole new world to me.

I don't have any pictures though sorry.

Best birthday celebration was this year. My wife planned a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This was our first little vacation together since our honeymoon last year, and we had a great time. I'm a big music guy and I went there years ago with my dad, but it was special being there with my wife.

We took funny pictures of us holding albums with faces, and here's one of me:

Best gift? My replica lightsaber, of course! My wife is great.

I don't have any pictures, but I do have a little story. Growing up I was a huge sports fan, and for some reason I really wished I lived in Chicago instead of rural Michigan.
For my 13th birthday the Chicago Bears were in town, so my Dad woke me up early that Sunday, we went and picked up my best friend and we drive to Pontiac for a noon kickoff after we found a scalper that was selling 3 tickets for what I remember being dirt cheap. They were in the end zone and that was where the drunk folks liked to start fights every 10-15 minutes. I barely remember the game itself, but the fights were awesome.
Then when I got home I had a smorgasbord of Bears memorabilia and clothes... And my Grandma made my favorite cheesecake. Every birthday since then has paled in comparison

This thread just reminds me how bad my memory is, the only gift that sticks out in my mind is getting an Alf when I was either 2 or 3. No pic but happy belated birthday!

Happy birthday!!!!

I have all the games so I don't need entered into the contest. Actually this one is going to be on my son's birthday not mine.

Last year my son who turned ten on 12/6 decided that he was going to donate all of his birthday presents to less fortunate. He packaged up all his unopened gifts and we took them to the local police station.

He explained what he did. The police man asked if it would be ok to take his picture. We agreed. Didn't think any thing of it. The police man shared it on their facebook page. It went viral and lots of people commented on it and really gave my son props for what he did.

They gave the items to a single mom family who had lost everything. They had been living out of their car. It allowed her to give her kids a Christmas.

It was a really cool moment and made me so proud to be this kids dad. He's such a selfless and compationate kid. He was like a little celebrity at school cause all his friends kept seeing his picture on the news.

This thread makes me depressed as I can't think of any special gift I got so id just go with expensive bottles of alcohol lol.

Plus I hate taking pics of anything relating to me so *shrugs*

My best bday was probably my 30th bday. My friend got married the day before my bday so I got lots of free beer with the open bar. Will always be able to remember my friends anniversary now because of this. :p

Best gift? Hard to pick but that may be my gift for this year. My parents bought me a ticket for Black Sabbath farewell tour. Goi n h to the concert tomorrow actually. My bday is September 1st. :p

Cool little contest. If I can figure out how to get some pictures up I'll add them.

My best birthday was my 30th birthday. My brother had a bunch of friends come over for a surprise party, great time.

My favorite birthday gift was gen 1 Optimus prime when I was a kid.

I stopped celebrating birthdays, as they only ever end up in disaster. As an example, I had to have emergency dental surgery on my birthday this year, and couldn't eat for over a week. So, no pictures EVER. I will say that my birthday last year was probably the best, as I was given an Xbox One. I was shocked it wasn't actually a box filled with bricks, or something else that was a disaster.
