Best Buy digital game codes for Xbox One

I've been wanting to take advantage of their gamers club unlocked but I only buy digital this generation. I saw they are now offering preorders for digital games. Does anyone know if Games Club Unlocked works the same? $48 for new games and don't you get some preorder credit?

GCU doesn't work on any digital stuff

I swear I saw somewhere recently that they were now including digital games in the program. I just sent an email to support, hopefully they will know if I am just making this up or if its real lol.
