Looking for a deal on a original PS2 RGB cable.

CAGiversary!
So okay, my brother went thrifting a while ago and found me a incredible deal on a fatty PS2. The only problem is it didn't come with cables. I picked a generic RCA cable up off Ebay for it and it sorta works, other than I'm having some minor display issues with PS1 games, and thought it miiight be a little better if I could get my paws on a original Sony branded cable. (Had to buy a controller too, btw; found one with the rubber worn off on the sticks, I put some covers that you'd use on a DS4 on the offending sticks.)

Would anyone know where I could find a deal on those? If anyone has those on auction or on Amazon or somesuch, I'm game. No pun intended. ^^

Just in case anyone's curious, I have to daisychain this though a VCR (We got a huge VCR tape collection inherited from my dad that eventually we hope to replace with DVDs, but can't afford to do that right now), so SVideo might work, tho the VCR also uses RCA so I'm not sure how much that'd help.

Assume you're American, you don't need an RGB cable for the PlayStation. This cable is what you're talking about: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Sony-Playstation-AV-Composite-RCA-Video-Cable-Cord-PS2-OEM-AV2-/162213717643?hash=item25c4b0e68b:g:eek:hoAAOSwmLlX5DNu

In America, what people consider "RGB" would be called component. Official cables are $50 due to the lack of popularity with the format, as HDMI has replaced it. If you must have those cables: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-6FT-Component-Cable-Xbox-360/dp/B004C4U1VI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474841234&sr=8-2&keywords=video+game+component+cable+monoprice

Just so you know, encendido5 actually sent me one, so I'm good, and yeah that's what I meant. The only reason is this is a PS2, not a PS3. PS3, I just use a hdmi cable.

The trouble with a old PS2 is your only choices are RCA/component, YpbPr component cables, Svideo, RFU adapter (plugs into the antenna port; you prolly remember that; I have one but it made stuff look like crap) or RGB (you have to use sync on luma cables) Bet you didn't know it supported that.

If you're curious about this, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7fCTHu99bk .

I can't do RGB actually (That was a typo; I meant RCA) because I don't have a FrameMeister or anything like that, but I found that interesting.

Also I play both some PS1 and PS2 games on it, tho I play some PS1 games on my PS3 now that I know no PS2 compat =/= can't play PS1 games in it either. Just..PS3 does not do FF8, which is the backlog game I'm working on beating now b/c PS3 hates the Pocketstation even with a adapter, and guess what my brother happens to have? A pocketstation!
