Whatever happened to warby parker? I was thinking about getting new glasses.

I think the margin is better on disc games than on currency for digital stores because games regularly get discounted and the currency cards don't.

Cheapy what model # of Samsung do you have? I'm trying to find information on all the tv's that are compatible with the One Connect box, but i can't seem to find any info. I have a 2015 UN65JU7500 that came with the mini box.

I'd like to hear Cheapy's impressions of a 4K Blu-ray movie with HDR on his new gear.

The $50 Amazon Fire tablet with a 32GB memory card ($10) is the perfect dedicated device for reading Comixology digital comics.

Haven't played the Forza Horizon series but because of all the praise you guys have given it, I've decided to start with the first and go from there. I'm still not checking out the OJ documentary though.

re: Best Buy not doing 20% off digital

Just my theory, but I think that they (BB) want people to buy physical copies so they have a chance of getting it back as a used game and then reselling it. Can any BB employees out there clarify this (or does anyone here wish to speculate)?

On another note, it was nice to hear CheapyD confirm my thoughts about the PSVR - the secondary market is going to be pretty good for a while. Unless the stores have tons of them hanging around on the shelf, I see the eBay prices holding well for even open-box items.

I plan on trying out my PSVR and will probably sell it when the novelty has worn off. My most hopeful scenario: it will be well worth the $$$ and I'll happily keep it. *cough*

Wombat did nothing wrong. Binge watching shows is why Netflix exists. Cheapy wouldn't have the problem of people he follows on Twitter talking about spoilers if he was more like Wombat.

Damn, Cheapy you didn't tell me there were titties in Westworld?! That should've been the first selling point. Always lead with boobs...boobs.

Thanks for doing a show even though you guys don't feel well. My theory for not discounting new $60 digital games is purely to sustain the relationships with their retail partners. Once the digital codes at the stores are discounted it becomes so much easier for Sony and Microsoft to discount on their own Marketplaces. Also customers would be pissed they have to drive to a store to buy a discounted digital code instead of just getting the same price point via the console store.

This, every time he mentions the picture quality I'm like dude you are streaming what do expect. Cheapy, please try a UHD Bluray with HDR and get back to us on the quality difference.

Also, Comixology got me to quit pirating comics. Guided view is the best feature for digital comics possibly comics in general. I like not being able to see the other panels and glance at what is about to happen. It moves from panel to panel in full screen, works great on iPhone Plus screen.

Not really feedback to the show but I randomly went to a third eye blind concert a couple months ago. The lead singer went on a rant, not political. It was about people not looking at each other and living in the moment, at least I think so, it was kinda all over the place. It was a decent show, their old songs are still pretty good.

I thought the binge watching segment was dripping with irony.

Wombat scolded for binge watching Luke Cage while Cheapie talks about the tv shows he watched and games he played.

Not to be outdone, Wombat was doing his tv marathon while his wife was running a real marathon.  Good stuff.   :)

btw I thought binge watching was the thing to do in today's world.  I might not be able to do 13 hrs in a few days, but I much prefer to watch a show over 2 weeks than 3 months.  And sad thing is now I can't stand to wait a week between episodes.  LIke with WEstWorld, I Tivo'd that sht and am not watching until the episodes pile up.

I agree with Cheapy about having a cheaper digital price.   I'm currently looking for a digital copy of Plants Vs Zombies 2 for the XBox 1 and the physical copy is now 40.00 MSRP, where the digital is still listed at 59.99.  I can actually find the physical copy way cheaper than 40.00 most of the time.

I also think if Best Buy would at least keep the game prices in sync and the addition of Gamer's Club to the digital content, I would go completely digital.  I'm done with disc changing, i'm just lazy.

FYI, Plants V Zombies 2 is currently on EA Access for 29.99 a year.
