Ghostbusters Walmart $20 Vudu Credit

Great deal. Asking a lot though to make that purchase. I heard the movie is garbage.
The armchair movie critics keep comparing it with the others. My family and I really liked it. We've watched the extended version a few times in the past couple of weeks. Just enjoy it for what it is.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed the new movie. It's definitely not as fun as the originals but it's still a good time and offers a few good laughs. However, I don't buy movies anymore... the Internet is just better.

I’m a hardcore GB fan and I loved the new film.

If anything it feels a bit like a live action Real Ghostbusters cartoon.

Yes, it’s very different in many respects to the original but I would argue that’s the point of a remake.

Fans didn't want a remake though. Not tosound sexist but I think they could have done better with a male cast. I wasn't big on most of the actors they chose to fill these rolls.

A sequel with the original cast was never going to happen, especially after Harold Ramis died.

That videogame we got a few years back, voiced by the cast, is the closest thing to GB3.

I do think they could have very easily made this film a continuation of the events from the previous two movies and make it some manner of franchise these ladies purchase but I also understand why they opted to start from scratch.

Still, I really liked the cast and Feig is a good director so it worked for me.

Regardless, the franchise is probably dead at this point.

I guess the fans would rather have no Ghostbusters at all...

Ghostbusters was great. And I say this as a huge fan of the original, the sequel, and the video game. It's a little more in-your-face with its humor than I would've liked (and let's be real, most of the cameos were awful), but I liked the characters and thought they had a pretty nice chemistry together. Obviously Holtzmann is a work of art.

It also makes me really happy little girls are getting four diverse, non-sexualized female characters to look up to as well.

Not tosound sexist
:whistle2:?

Someone want to explain to me the scan part of this? I haven't messed with the Vudu app in a while and sorry if it would be obvious once I was in store.

To me the movie had potential to be decent but ultimately it fell short of that. Far too often you would have something semi funny happen followed up with something so stupid I found myself face palming. It's not the worst movie ever made as some people - you know - the "they are taking away my child hood" people make this out to be but this at best to me is a rental watch once and done affair.

Also to note I watched the extended cut.

I would assume the Savings Catcher, since that's how InstaWatch movies are deposited.

EDIT: Never mind. Instawatch gave me jack squat.

EDIT x2: Apparently there's a Slimer QR code display you had to scan. And apparently it ended on the 16th.
