Headset help needed

Looking for a cheap Headset that would work for PS3/360/XB1. Interested mainly in hearing game audio. Chatting is not important.

I always recommend the PS Golds.  It's comfortable, durable enough, and multipurpose.  It can be used wireless on PC, PS3, and Ps4.  Works with sound and chat on anything with a headphone jack as well, and the cord is detachable/replaceable.  Can be had on sale for under $80 easily.

So 360 is a huge oddball. You need an adapter to get pretty much any other headset to work on it. I use something called a "Nox audio adapter" which adds support. It's honestly the worst console to deal with due to it's closed off nature. If it's your main console, you should look into a 360 headset first, that also works with a 3.5mm cable.
