So looking for a new phone.  I have an Amazon Fire Phone, which spec wise isn't actually awful, but doesn't run too well anymore.  I think that's partially due to Amazon not updating the OS In a year now since they abandoned the phone.

Interested in a phone for $200 or less.  Preferably new.  Would only consider a used one from a reputable source.  I don't want to get stuck with someone else's broken phone.

Wouldn't mind spending significantly less than $200 as well.

Some of the phones I've considered:

Moto G4 (Amazon Ads version was $120 today)

Honor 5x (Was $120 on Amazon Prime Day)

LeEco S3 Ecophone (Comes out in a week and potentially $150)

OnePlus X (Specs seem nice, but sort of shooting for something a little bigger since this one feels too similar to the Fire Phone)

Ideally I'd want an SD card slot, good battery life, and snappy performance.  Need it to run on Cricket.

Not sure what other info is pertinent.

Let me know what your recommendation is or experience is with any of the potential contenders.

The moto x pure came out last year and I believe there have been sales on it for around $200. Or the alcatel idol 3 or 4 is a good android phone with some interesting bonuses on it.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't heard of the Moto X Pure. Looked it up and the specs are great. Saw that Amazon Warehouse Deals occasionally has good prices so might keep an eye on it. I've been looking at the Alcatel Idol 4 (I see they just released the 4s but it's super expensive). I do like the music-centric features since I listen to a lot of music so it is a contender.
