Hey guys, been trying to follow along since ads have been going up but you know, life.

I'm trying to get an XBONE for my Dad for Xmas.  Is the Dell Deal at 3PM still the best deal?  I mean Battlefield 1 bundle + Gears 4 + Extra Controller for $249 is gonna be hard to beat...

My Wal-Mart is rolling out like a military unit, grabbing stuff lefg and right to insure nobody is buying them. I inquired about Recore and Just Cause 3 from someone on the other side of the electronics case, they said they are having an issue and csnt sell the games if they come up the "sale price". I confirmed things were ringing up but they got fifty employees and management rolling out acting like this is lockdown. Y'all got this problem every year and now are doing something about it?

Anyways...I didn't want him to get out two games close to a hundred regular price when I knew he would scan and find them at $15, then "adjust " accordingly. At least this is the scenario in my location, I can't speak for others...

Ah well, I got what I really wanted from bestbuy.com and amazon night. These two games would just sit in the backlog anyways haha..

Man. That's crazy. My Walmart had plenty of stock and the cashier even said before I checked out they were gonna ring up as sale prices and I played dumb and said "Really? No complaints here" and she checked my games out and said have a good turkey day.

Seems very YMMV from store to store.

Annoyed that Walmart hasn't changed the price of Doom online yet. And I don't want to drive 5 minutes and have it not be in store either.

Was sorta hoping Amazon might price match Walmart for Final Fantasy X and Shadow of Mordor, but it looks like the prices for those games aren't even updated on Walmart's website.

Amazon doesn't have Final Fantasy X in-stock so a price match couldn't happen. Alternatively, you can get it online at Target: http://www.target.co...-4/-/A-17375791

:wiiu: $39.99 Guitar Hero Live 2 Pack

hm, my gut tells me I'm better off paying a few more bucks for the PS4. I get the impression it's not a resource-intensive game, but I'm assuming the PS4 online experience is better. Anyone have experience white the Wii U version?

While I wait for my turkey to be ready here's something to pass the time in the spirit of today's shopping courtesy of CheapyD who just posted this a few hours ago.  Song by Lil Dicky & Fetty Wap "Save Dat Money" starts at 1:25 (very apropos):

Just picked up jungle book and the shallows blu rays for 10 bucks each at walmart. Also the vacuum i wanted in the ad for 100 bucks just now. Love how the vacuum display for tonight is covered in "merchandise not available until 6PM" signs then i just walk over and pick the same one in the vacuum aisle and buy it for half price lol. I do this every year now going home for turkey and football.

Btw, i price checked a lot of stuff that goes on sale at 6PM supposedly and of course every single thing came up on sale now (assuming it can be bought normally throughout the year)

I'm in the market for a vacuum cleaner.  Can you point out which one you got?  Is it this one?

I guess amazon is slowly rolling out their deals. Got Rise of Tomb Raider for PS4 at $35 same as Wal-Mart. Now waiting on Battlefield 1 and I'll be done!

Well, I'm pretty much done and Black Friday isn't even till tomorrow. Digitally I wound up picking up Ark: Survival Evolved, Batman Telltale Series Ep1 (free), Dishonored Definitive Collection, Hitman Intro Pack, Song of the Deep, Valley, and Trackmania Turbo for Xbox One. From physical stores I got Recore ($15), Skyrim Special Edition ($25), Doom ($15), Star Wars Battlefront Dlx ($10), Dark Souls 3 ($15), Just Cause 3 ($15), Batman: Return to Arkham ($25), Witcher 3 Complete Ed. ($25), Lego Dimensions ($40), and Far Cry Primal ($15) for my Xbox One and Last of Us Remastered ($10), Nathan Drake Collection ($15), and MLB The Show 16 ($15) for my PS4. Also picked up the Steam Hardware bundle (Steam Link + 2 controllers) for $50, Civilization V Complete ($4), and Starbound ($10).

So I am pretty much done. I am still contemplating picking up that Xbox One S bundle from CostCo, but that's up in the air at this point. With Scorpio coming holiday 2017, I am really on the fence about upgrading to the One S as Scorpio will definitely be a day one purchase for me and I have a ton of Sideshow statues I am currently making payment on so my hobby funds are already stretched pretty far right now.

All in all, some pretty good deals in there on some games I have wanted for awhile. Time to kick back and eat lots of really fattening food.

Here's a nice deal.  Free 4 month subscription to Google Music.  What's useful for me is YouTube Red (ad free version) comes with the Music sub automatically.  You sign up for a $10 subscription that will charge you after the free 4 months, but you can just go in and cancel anytime before (March 24, 2017) then and still keep the remaining 4 months.  Works if you have not subscribed before at least:

Battlefield 1 for $27 went up earlier in the morning already as a "Lighting Deal" for both X1 & PS4.

It may come back, but who knows.

Do we have a list of which Walmart sales are reflected on their digital counterparts?

Ran to Walmart and got DS3 and Garden Warfare 2 for PS4.  Unfortunately no Deluxe edition for GW2. Also forgot to check if the Beauty and the Beast BR was on the floor. :wall:

It's a super online focused game for the heart of it's content and the Wii U is typically more limited or restricted so I would.

So given the Wii U is on its way out, I expected some liquidation sales on Black Friday, but there doesn't seem to be anything going on. Am I missing something or should it just be an Amazon purchase?

Picked up Pokken Tournament for $33.25 via the Target app, paid for by a gift card, along with some makeup (Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off) for the wife.

Now I'm just hoping Amazon or someone sells some Bowflex SelectTech 252 Dumbells + Stand + Bench for $250ish like they did last year...

I'm guessing they want people to focus on the New 3DS and Pokemon (and to a lesser extent the NES Classic) as oppose to buying a system with a rather limited, but good, library that's on it's way out next year. My guess is after the Switch press conference in January is the best bet, but then again it's Nintendo.

Thanks man I just opted to have it shipped to my home instead.  I bought a gang load of games last night and the vacuum cleaner you pointed out.  My delivery carriers are going to hate me for the next couple of weeks.

As someone who pretty much just plays overwatch online and some star wars would I enjoy titanfall? Or what about battlefield?

of all the stores to be dragging... B&N is going at a snail's pace. Plus each time I try to use the 30% off code it comes up that an error has occurred. Doubt many people are flocking there but I love ms my books...

That's REALLY hard to say without knowing what kinds of play you like and don't. If you don't like CoD, liking Titanfall will be hard because it comes from the team that worked on what people think of as the Golden Age of CoD (even if I disagree). The Titans in the first were awesome, but the Pilots felt like the hellhole gunplay of Modern Warfare that chased me out of CoD in the first place.

Battlefield probably works if you like Battlefront for more than just the Star Wars graphics. It'll be more challenging and deliberate in its required gameplay, that's for sure. Lots of depth you won't find in the other stuff, which is why I'm considering BF1 after seeing the competition flop at every turn.
