Well considering that the Switch is cartridge based it kind of makes sense that it isn't BC with Wii U. 3DS would of been cool I guess but it isn't necessary. Hopefully digital games can be carried over but knowing Nintendo, they probably won't be. 

 

OT, tried to get a New 3ds XL but looks like its OOS (although it says its "discontinued").

I would totally jump on that if it came with a game I wanted like Super Mario 3D World.  I couldn't care less about Mario Kart.  I can't understand why they don't sell that bundle any longer.

The website's giving me a "discontinued" message. Is that different from the "out of stock" message that some of you said you're seeing? Out of stock almost implies it will get back in stock, but discontinued suggests game over.

Several sources are indicating that Nintendo is ending production on the Wii U this week, so if you've held out this long, I'd say wait a little longer as the price will probably drop sub-$200 soon enough if I had to guess... Actually I'd probably just recommend waiting for the Switch at this point since rumors are saying a lot of Wii U games will probably be ported over anyways.

Not only that...but I got an order in around 9:45 yesterday...and now I see that it's been cancelled. That's some super shady bullshit on their part. Really pissed off right now.

 

EDIT - Got in touch with a JCP rep and she confirmed that my order had shipped and had a tracking number...even though the site listed it as cancelled. It is possible I just cheated myself out of a free Wii U, haha...but at least I know I didn't get screwed out of this deal.
