I already opened it, why the hell would I buy it on Sunday, and keep it sealed hoping that a week later there might be a free game with it? So at this point can't I just rebuy tomorrow and return just the console (new one) with my old receipt? 

Well, hopefully you at least activated Playstation Plus the day you picked it up. 
A big part of the reason I bought mine on Halloween night was that I knew I'd be able to log right in, grab October's games (Resident Evil and Platinum Transformers game), and then have new games to pick up the next day. 

 

Otherwise, yeah... you probably should have waited.

That $299.99 plus tax gets taken down to $229.50 plus tax after the 15% cartwheel and 10% Wishlist.
If you then take the red card 5%, you're down to $218.

 

So yeah, even if you get $20+ and $40+ on trade in of Uncharted 4 and COD IW, I don't see how you're getting to $100.

I have a PS4 Pro already pre-ordered and paid off. How do I go about getting in on this? I'm not really into CoD, but I'm sure it will trade to BB or back into GS for at least $30 in credit.

Not yet, was thinking I was going to use a $50 rewards cert, but then realized they are instore only...hmmmm...thinking I'll still order for instore pickup. Would I be able to use a rewards cert then?

Actually that might be it, because I went ahead and bought the Legacy Edition instead of the normal one. The checkout system must not be able to ship $0 items by themselves.

I don't think they even do a pending charge, they just have to have a CC on file. Everything is done in store (so yes you can use a cert).

If you get the Legacy edition, the game's still only going to be $20, and the SAVER requires $25 or more of in stock items.
