Target pre-order free gift card issue.

I got a question.  I was buying 3 copies of the cod legacy edition at target buy 2 get 1 free with the preorder card but the wishlist coupon only took off $5 instead of the original 10% so i am considering returning and just rebuy them form target,com where it was applied correctly.  Now my question is if i return them what happen to the 3 x $5 gift card i got for preordering?

Judging by the thumbs up it must have been a pretty good movie.
