After the (somewhat disappointing) beta, I'm happy to read all the positive comments on this site and elsewhere about Titanfall 2.  It is definitely on my wish list for Black Friday/Xmas.

Hope you guys have set the CAG network happy hour to a reasonable time.  Lol.

OK, my copy from Target finally came in today but I haven't played any of the campaign because I'm still trying to beat the instructor's time in Gauntlet! AUUHHH, addicting, so close, had so many good runs and then I couldn't hit the enemy or I mistimed the wall jump and broke the flow. I'm making myself physically ill because I think my motion sickness kicked in lol.

OK, managed to play some campaign today and there's a lot of Metroid formula here. You know what you can be, how powerful you'll be but you'll have to work your way towards it. In this case it's salvaging power for your Titan. Later levels felt very Mirror's Edge with the wall running and navigation. There's a bit of Crysis feel to me as well with reliance on the pilot's cloaking ability. Lastly, yeah there's that Call of Duty gun play zen that still feels very punchy. It's a gorgeous game, pretty impressive with using the Source engine, if you think about it.

I'm not sure when this officially started because I see people on the official forums complaining about it since the end of October, but I've just started having issues a little over a week ago. It appears that the developers changed something with their net code that requires each user to have a unique IP address. In other words, if you have multiple players in your house trying to play Titanfall 1 & 2 you can't play together unless you set up static IPs. For a non tech savvy guy like me that isn't an option. My wife and I were playing a ton of Titanfall 1 & 2 up until last week. We can play separately without issue but can't party up and play together. It's so stupid and pointless.

Hmm that's weird.

Has anybody gone through and collected all the pilot helmets? I'm in the process of finding more of them after I beat the campaign.

I have a question on the multiplayer gameplay regarding stealing a battery from an enemy titan.  Once I have the battery, what do i do with it?  I seem to recall something about pressing X to tell so-and-so that I have a battery?  help?

You can ride a teammate's titan to give them the battery.

I'm unsure whether to grab this or not. I hear great things about the game, but my backlog is ON FLEEK. It's at a great digital code discount now so i'm tempted.

Any one here try the deluxe edition, is that an ideal purchase or nah?

The deluxe edition is essentially a few cosmetic skins for the MP. I had bought the standard edition at launch and then when they released the BF1 + TF2 digital double pack around Christmas for $74.99 (or around that price) I traded in both games for $80 and bought the double pack to go digital on them. I don't know if they are on sale still, but I saw the double pack was $49.99 recently which is a great deal (assuming you are a fan of both games).

Got you. I've never played Titanfall before. I've stayed away from COD & BF 1 due to my huge backlog. From the rave reviews of TitanFall 2 has got me interested in testing the waters ($24). I've dabbled in COD in a long past but more so RPGS these days.
