Pending charge on credit card

So I have no credit. Last month I signed up for a secured credit card. This means i gave them the money ahead of time, but it works like a regular credit card. Basically I just put the risk on myself instead of on the bank.

Anyway, I've never had a credit card before. I'd like to order something from the NIS America site, but they do a pre-order hold for 10 days.

I'm not sure when my first payment is due. If I hit the end of my billing cycle with this hold still on my account, what happens? Since it's status is pending does it just not count on my bill?

I'm sorry if this is obvious. I just don't wanna have an extra $40 charge this month. It's bad enough with black Friday happening. Thanks.

Pending payments don't actually show up on your statement, but they will impact your card limit as it's holding an amount on that card.

As long as you're not having an issue with overcharging passed your limit, you'll be fine.
