I guess you can listen to Wombat's other podcast, Uninformed Opinions.

I'd just like to say one thing. How is CheapyD, the man who has told us numerous doodie stories over the years, grossed out by one little turd in some real footage from the Amanda Knox case? You've gone soft. Otherwise, great show.

How can you talk about the famous people of Long Island and not mention HOWARD STERN????

Cheap and Wombat should be forced to move to Roosevelt as punishment

When I was at Disneyland a Family with a 4 year old girl was in front of my group in the Little Mermaid line. A switch was flipped and she started freaking out because she thought everyone was going to drown. Felt really bad for the family, but the Disney employee gave them a fast pass or something when the mom and daughter left as the boy and Dad got on.

Doom was $15 btw on Black Friday Wombat at Microsoft Store and Wal-Mart, not $20.

FF XV needs to sell 10 Million according to multiple websites. http://www.usgamer.net/articles/final-fantasy-xv-needs-10-million-sold-to-recoup-10-years-of-work

And I'm surprised CheapyD picked Skylanders over LEGO Dimensions. Knight Rider and Mr. T are sad.

I recommend killing all the regular enemies you can in your first playthru of Dishonored 2. It makes exploring the areas and finding runes & bonecharms much less frustrating, especially if you buy the ability that turns dead enemies to ash.

26 Minutes in and all I could think of was "I remember when this used to be a video game podcast." At least I don't have to go elsewhere to get my fill of Gilmore Girls talk. The product placement was top notch, but overall, extremely disappointing.

No one is giving Osaka Grandma guff for not going to McDonald's. It's for having Japanese food instead of actually good food that she wouldn't normally eat (read: not McDonald's). Not that I think there's an issue with having the Japanese food... it's probably fun to compare it to home. But for the first meal, seems weird to jump right to that. But hey, it's her trip, let her do what she wants.

Almost reminds me of seeing esport players getting to visit these awesome countries for tournaments like Korea, and posting pictures about going to eat at goddamn McDonald's because they're teenagers and 20-somethings that don't give a shit. Such a waste.

It's a different story on an Xbox controller, but on a PlayStation controller, I always use the D-pad to navigate menus. It just feels natural, with how the D-pad is located.

Great show as always guys.

1) Grandmas reach an age where they don't want to try new stuff.  If you take them somewhere outside their comfort zone- they will order the plainest thing they can find on the menu.  Cheapy did the right thing- keep G'ma happy and take them where they want to go.

2) I know it's been brought up repeatedly in the past; and that it is a NY thing (along with rattling off the names of at least 20 famous people from your part of NY apparently), but you don't stand ON A LINE.

How does physically standing "on" a line make any sense to anyone?  You are IN that line not on it!

I love you guys, but the Spider-man stuff had me face palming so had that I self-concussed myself. With Marvel Unlimited, there is no reason to not be reading Ultimate Spider-Man. It's the best Spidey in years. It's so good. If you want to stay 616, Superior Spider-Man is good, but it isn't Peter Parker. If you want to read current stuff, read the regular Spider-Man with Miles Morales. It's kind of boring and not as good as Ultimate Spidey, but it is ok. But really, just read Ultimate and hope that the current series improve in the meantime, even though they probably won't.

Get yourself some of those projector xmas lights Cheapy if you don't want to hang anything up.  They are nice and easy to do.

Gotta agree with Wombat that there are too many good games to play right now. Titanfall 2 dropped between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty (as Shipwreck said a few weeks ago) seems like a poor timing choice. Is The Last Guardian going to have the same fate? Sheesh.

Would love to hear your impressions next week on the Resident Evil 7 teasers/trailers. It seems to be more like OUTLAST and the Amnesia games. IMHO, this might be good since trying to replicate the magic of RE4 in RE5 and RE6 didn't go so well.

Spider-Man in comic books is beyond convoluted and messed up. Today's comics are even worse than the Clone Era.

I'm taking the Over on Shipwrecks FF play time.  Also next show, Shipwreck must be prepared to report on what games he bought for Black Friday (isn't there a spreadsheet available with this information).   For some reason I really wanted to know...

I get the feeling if Nintendo made Amiibo do more then Cheapie would hate on Nintendo  for hiding "content" behind Amiibo.   :)

I thought they did good with them.  You have to put it all into perspective.  Wii U sales are terrible.  The old 3ds, which is most of the 3ds install base, was out years before Amiibo and can't read Amiibo out of the box.   And Amiibo were the ...3rd or last to market with in the TTL space?

I doubted Amiibo sales would continue this year like the previous year because I felt that once you have a Mario figure, your desire to get another Mario in a different pose drops like a rock.  And, as Ship said, it didn't help that AC:Amiibo Festival was poorly received and that was their  next major Amiibo project.  They should have saved the AC Amiibo for the next real AC game.

I think Nintendo can still release a few Amiibos here and there to conincide with game releases into the future and make a little extra cash on the side.

Downloaded Overcooked, and my wife actually likes it. We had quite a fun time playing it, and she is far from being a gamer. We thought it was pretty funny when cooking on the ship resulted in the ship rocking back and forth and having to change up duties. It's a really fun game.
