Does it stack with prime 20% off?

Is this a 15% and then 20% on top of it? Or a one or the other situation?

Of course not--the Prime discount only applies to MSRP, not the current price (unlike GCU). :puke:

One or the other.

Prime discount doesn't stack on anything, so I'm going to say it doesn't stack.

Move along, move along...this is not the deal you're looking for. =(

Unless you don't have prime or GCU for some reason.

Nope, no stacking. The highest discount you'll get is the prime discount, not both

They're probably just matching the target 15% off on games.

It's for non prime members. The prime discount is listed below the 15% off, at least on my cell phone

Apologies.  I am not currently a Prime member and I wasn't sure if this was going to equal big savings for some of you guys.  Still a decent deal for the fraction of a percentage of people who are neither Prime or GCU members I guess  8-[

If you're actually loyal to Amazon and pay $99 you get shafted. Seems legit.

Prime discount is off LIST price only:

The 20% discount applies to an item’s List Price and does not apply to an item’s already discounted price.

Amazon is really confusing about stuff like this. For example when I'm logged in, it shows the digital version of God of War 3 HD as 19.99. But when I'm not logged in, it shows as 14.30. So the digital price is cheaper for NON prime members? That's rather odd.

Kind of cheapens the whole 20% off games w $100/year Prime membership thing now doesn't it. Here's mud in your eye loyal customers.

Sincerely,

Amazon

Absolutely.  Bad enough that the discount limited to within 2 weeks after release, unlike GCU where it's ALL new games.  Now non-Prime members are consistently getting almost the same deal.  5% is like a 3 dollar difference.  And this is for every single major release for the next half year.

Thanks, OP. Have GCU and no Prime, but still a good deal if like me you have Amazon credit. Going to get The Last Guardian.

The only reason they are doing it is because they are price matching Target which is running a 15% off all games promotion until tomorrow. Once Target stops running their sale Amazon will stop theirs as well.  Which is the reason I will buy from Target (or whoever) in sales like this.  If Target doesn't have incentive to run these types of sales then they won't, and Amazon won't either.

By the way Target has an additional 5% off with Red Card (which Amazon does not match) as well as lower free shipping minimums if you don't have Red Card.
