Sweet, thanks! Just picked up Books 8 and 10 of the Wheel of Time series for $10.60 plus tax!

By the way, what was the Black Friday deal?

Last thread someone pointed out you can preorder the Bloodborne Artbook with it and that's what I did. $5 off isn't as spicy but I think it's still a good use for it. The artbook should get the standard 30% discount before release too. I think that's what the typical discount is.

just noticed 2 versions of skyrim guides, and if I'm reading the description correctly, the one with a bookmark is $9 more expensive than just the hardcover guide, hmmm

$10 off $25 book purchase.

I see. Personally, I think this was the better deal, for me anyway. The books I bought added up to be only a little more than $15 dollars. If I bought more of the $8 books, they would have been just under the $25 needed, forcing me to add another book that would have brought it up to be more than $30 total before the discount.

this, but i send the money to my kids school. really helpful since all of our taxes seem to go to tax breaks for corporations and to build stadiums so the schools get less and less every year.

You're asking if an Epic Fantasy Book series is for nerds?

Does a red-headed stepchild like attention?

Thanks, OP! Picked up The Elementia Chronicles: An Unofficial Minecraft Fan-Adventure books 2&3 for my son

...pretty safe to say those are nerd-approved as well.

Don't listen to this jarhead. No, it's not for nerds, but with an attitude like that, it's probably not for you anyway.

Any thoughts on this N64 anthology book? Apparently he did interviews with someone from each game... kind of what I do with indie devs.. I'm going to buy it just t0 see if there is anything that I can learn...

Bought the paperback Pokemon Sun/Moon guide. Originally spent $25 on the hardcover one but I returned it after learning that it kind of sucked. For $11 though, I'll go ahead and buy it for collection purposes.

Great, this let me get $5 off my preorder of Thrawn, which I couldn't do with the last promo since it's only a little over $20. I always forget to use AmazonSmile, too, though there's almost no local organizations or schools that I recognize on their list, so I just use it to donate to the local library whenever I actually remember to use it.

I totally want to hear impressions when you get this book. My interest in books on video game history is currently peaking so I totally want to know about this

Thanks! I saw those on Amazon. One of the reviews stated the Pokémon get killed and cut in half. Is that accurate?

Well, Koga's Arbok got sliced in half but it didn't die. It actually regenerated itself and shows up in the Gold/Silver/Crystal arc.

You can goggle the page though and see if you would be alright with it though.
