Does steam and its game work ok in windows 10?

Thinking of upgrading to windows 10 on my game machine and I heard quite a bit that steam and launching games or saving games kind of sucks on it. When I looked at the steam download page it didnt mention windows 10, it only listed windows xp, 7, vista.

you should upgrade because older windows operating systems perform worse and will receive fewer updates until they finally receive none as Microsoft changes them to end of life status. I use Windows 10 and Steam and most of my games are great. Only older games will have trouble at this point, and most people have workarounds. Do backup your system first, because any upgrade can fail or might reveal faulty hardware that normal usage doesn't. Back blaze has a free trial that works well for online backup if you don't have a local drive.

Steam and games work fine.  Worst case scenario is you can run it in compatibility mode.
