New/sealed game, want to trade it in for full price, advices?

So I took an advantage of the deal last week on BBY, which was that if you bought an Elite Controller, they would give you a free game.. Sadly, I owned them both already. And from what I heard, if I return it with the receipt given, I don't get anything back since it was a bundle. Is there anything that I can do to get something out of it? BBY gives me $18 for trade it in, but it's less than half...

Also: it's on sale right now for $23.99 w/GCU new.  You won't be getting close to $60 from any legitimate option.

Do I need to have GCU for the trade in?
Yea I know, wasn't aiming at $60 though, more like $30-$40

Nope, you would get an extra 10% on the base ($18: $1.80) if you have GCU.

Value may tank just before the 25th, though, so be prepared.
