Thief worth $5? Never played the series for and I have limited experience in stealth games but I do like them, provided they aren't that hard.

It's decently enjoyable.  It was a game with gold awhile back, too (actually... weren't all of these GWG except Temple of Osiris?)

Yep, except for Rise of Tom Braider and FF14.  Osiris was a Plus game.

Tomb Raider for XBO showing as unavailable in digital.

Turns out I don't care because I thought it was ROTR and it's the old one.

Think Kane & Lynch 2 is the only one of those that hasn't been GwG. So I suppose if you want the game, you could buy Thief (which also was a GwG) just to get if for $5.

I need some advise.
I got RotTR PS4 from Target for $35 and have not opened it yet. I have prefer digital but should I play this, sell it next Saturday to BB with 50% trade in bonus and buy the digital version next holiday season for cheaper
Or should I just return it to Target and buy the digital code now for $30?

Current trade in at BB is $20, so it would only be a $30 credit ($5 loss up front) or less if the value drops.  If you don't want to wait a year to play it, I'd just return it to Target, buy the code, and keep your 5 bucks.  If you don't care about waiting til next year and a cheaper price... return it to Target.  No sense taking a loss you don't need to take.

I have a question. Does the FF14 PS4 digital copy come with both the base game and Heavensward?

I wonder if I can beat the game by next Saturday, lol (10 days)

No. But if you have neither, know that you can't actually get to any of the Heavensward shit until you've completed the entire main story of the base game, which takes FOREVER because a lot of the story stuff is just fetch quests. Like, you can't even choose the new classes (because of the way the job system works in the game, where it's all in one character) due to their guilds being in the new area.

So I would advise getting the base game and seeing how you like it first. They go on sale often enough anyway.

Is the story actually worth a playthrough from a FF fans perspective? I know as a general rule MMO's tend to have either a garbage or a nonexistent one.

I hate pretty much all FF stories, but people who actually watched the cutscenes instead of skipping them said it was alright. There definitely is a LOT of story in it, but from what I could tell the base game's plot really meanders from around level 30 up until the end. Then, shit really pops off, and Heavensward's is markedly better. I've actually watched some of the scenes in it!

e: Also I was wrong, the "FFXIV Online" code does include both, so you might as well get that. I forgot they made that combined edition.

Dang, want that Tomb Raider: DE sale for the PS4. Apparently, the XBO version is capped at 30 fps, so I'd rather have it for the PS4.

I don't think it is. It's pretty bad, but YMMV.

I had gotten the physical edition of the base game a while ago and I was wondering if anyone knows if buying this would still net me the 30 days for my existing account? (I got a 'free' 30 days from the base game already, never paid for a month after that)

edit:

eh, looks like I can't buy it straight on the PSN and you can't even buy any download version that includes something you've used the physical version of before. not looking good for me
