Needless to say, I will be picking up a lot of stuff. Also, remember that the BB $5 off PS2/PSP game coupons may be accepted at CC (they have worked for me), so you can pick up some ps2 games for $5. Just don't abuse the coupons please.

I may have to head over to CC this weekend to see if any careless individuals made the mistake of starting this sale a little early again. :lol: I'll have to make a note of the game I'd like to get, but I doubt I'll get much with the $10 per title price tag.

I'm interested in these, though I know I wouldn't have anywhere near the money for all of these games.

It's a clearence, so until the stuff runs out. If you're going to get something, you should get it as soon as the sale starts.

My CCs have become really stingy about coupon matching, and I know they wouldn't take a photocopied/printed BB coupon. I tried to use BB's $10 off coupon on Black Hawk Down (3-disc) last week, the CSR called a manager who told her to check bestbuy.com, and only allow the coupon if the BB.com price was lower. Even if the BB.com price had been lower than $29.99 (all this was before she scanned the DVD, so it was based on the assumption that it was priced as marked), if she had gotten to the point of actually scanning the movie, that would have killed it anyway (since CC had it on sale for $16.99). Congrats to those of you with more easy-going CC CSRs/managers.

Could you also PM the clearance prices to Best Buy and use the coupon? I wonder if it would actually go through at my Circuit City, I only managed to get a couple $5 games last year, and theres a couple that I wouldn't mind paying $5 for this year. I wonder if Tony Hawk's Underground 2 will be added at $9.99 for PS2 too, or just for GC. A lot of the stuff on there is older and I believe makes sense to clear out, so this list is probably legit. I'm actually kinda happy its $10 instead of $5, less chance for some asshole to buy everything that morning and Ebay it, especially when they might not even profit on a lot of these games.

I know they stick that in there to cover their butts, and it is mainly regarding other stores, but they could, in theory, use that to deny a price match to their own clearance prices. I doubt it would be a problem, though.

Nothing really worth getting at $10, there are a couple. Pricegrabber rebates aren't available for most of the PS2 games; I see only a few that are nonsport titles that have the rebate.

And some just aren't worth it as EB sells them used for under $10.
