so yesterday i wanted to try to hook my amazon up to my ps3... So i walk up to the tv and hit the input to change it from   cable to  hdmi... Everything  worked fine and watched a few movies, turned it off and went back to normal tv.  A few hours later my tv starts jumping all round  jumping from  tv. hdmi  av and whatever  input it has... Unplugged it and waited 2 hours and plugged it back in..  Worked fine and then about 15 mins later it just starts jumping all around... Called up a  repair place today and they are saying   Since i touch the button on the side of  the tv  IT BLEW IT UP.. THey said you are to never touch any of the buttons on the side of the tv cause it  could blow up the tv  (something about static in your body can short out the mother board)     I never heard anything like this before  ....

now i got my 40 inch  LG  from thanksgiving   but hate it  (colors look washes out) and 40 is way too big for the living room)

had another worker at a different store  as well  ...  You can blow the tv up buy touching the buttons on the side of the tv... I never knew this

If this was in a "guess who wrote this topic based off the title alone" contest I'd be a winner.
