I don't know what others are waiting for but I'm hoping for:
Wii:
- New Super Mario Bros. - already released for EU and Japan eShop
- Pikmin 2 - already released for EU eShop
- Excite Truck (Excite Bots sort of suggested that they may do this)
- Mario Kart Wii - no idea here. Just kind of hoping for it.
Yeah, I like my VC/games downloaded to the hard drive so that they're all just there and I don't have a bunch of media/boxes taking up space at my place.
