Alienware is currently offering free early access to the Disgaea 2 PC Demo which will be released on Steam for everyone on January 30.

There's just over 6000 Steam keys still available so if you want one, I would do it now

Assuming the Disgaea 2 beta is similar to the Phantom Brave beta (which has ended and I can speak about), the NDA forbids testers from saying pretty much anything about the game, to the point where even informing people that you were a beta tester was frowned upon; the beta testers can't even directly tell you whether or not it's working better. On the other hand, it didn't stop the game from showing up in your Steam library; anyone or anything looking at your profile could see if you owned the game.

Anyways, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Even the Phantom Brave release was a marked improvement, engine-wise, from Disgaea PC. Releasing an OSX/Linux version would imply that they're doing a lot of work again from scratch.

Why did you post a demo in the deals section?

Why did you something something free in the deals section instead of the section labeled FREE?
